Video calling is never a native feature. It is always handled by an app.

Maybe explain why you are asking and/or what you're trying to accomplish, and we can provide some better answers.

That is probably the video calling provided by the carrier. Rogers had this on even basic flip phones a while back. I am not sure it caught on.

You would have to check with your carrier if video calls are available with BlackBerry. They will probably tell you only through BBM video, though that may be blocked in some areas.

BBM video is already blocked from my carrier I let it on by VPN

Although the video call on the samsung isn't blocked by carrier cuz I just called some one with it

That's called touchwiz, that isn't a standard Android feature. It's a Samsung baked in feature

Video calling is a native feature of 3G and nothing to do with your carrier.
Most phones support it -- just not Blackberry or iPhone.

It didn't pick up in North America because the carriers charged a huge amount for it and it was originally only available on Symbian devices (which were popular everywhere else). However, it was quite popular worldwide until a couple of years ago.

Yeah.. the OP is talking about the 3G video call feature.
Lately it has been dropped by many phone manufacturers. I had that on my previous phone and it was OK. Skype is much better and FaceFlow never worked for me...

I don't think bb10 has that functionality. Also it is supported by carrier and needs both parties to be on 3G network. Also both the carriers must support 3G video calls.
The best part was that it works without a data connection.
