I've never used the debrick file itself, but if you're just looking to install the latest leak without loosing your data, check out the instructions for the blitz non destructive upgrade/update posted here:

What OS version are you coming from? I would be weary of doing a non-destructive upgrade coming from the 10.2.X or 10.3.0 branch. That's just been my experience and what I have seen transpire on the forums here.

This is true, glad you pointed that out.

(OP) There are some autoloaders for it too which are very easy to use if you don't mind starting from sratch, but you probably already knew that.

I would backup all my files, then use the autoloader. After that manually reconfigure all my settings, do not restore.

Build your own autoloader then, but if your a novice it's easier to use one someone else already built.

There's no STL100-1 autoloader in the OP.

Hello, I went non destructive from where you are first to 10.3.0.1418, and then (non destructive again) to 10.3.1.1151, with really minimal issues., on my STL 100-1.

You will need debrick, core and radio files (the three of them) .

Using Sachesi, split the larger file (Sachesi will output an even larger file).

Then (again using Sachesi, in the same tab as before) extract the apps from the file Sachesi gave you in the previous step. By now you should have a folder with all the bars inside.

Now you must put in that same folder the other two files you started with (radio and core). IF AND ONLY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE MADE A BACKUP (there's no way I can stress it enough), connect the phone to your computer, and drag the entire folder to the "install " tab in Sachesi.

For precaution, many people advice to remove the locking password, and to put the phone in airplane mode.

Now go and make yourself some coffee and relax while Sachesi does its magic. Once your phone reboots itself, you can play with it again.

As an extra precaution, you should use the original USB cable, and start the upgrade process once the battery is full.

If you have doubts, search in the stickies. I'm sure there's a tutorial for nondestructive upgrades there.

    Good luck

Edited to add the backup thing.

Nice write up! I don't see a problem going direct using blitz or splitting the 3 files. Anyone waiting on official will OTA 10.2 to 10.3.1. One missing precaution though:

    MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!!!

In the fixes and findings thread there are people who have successfully installed this leak in STL 100-1 Z10s. It seems that many of the issues previous leaks had are gone, but some remain. After all, it's still a leak...

I'm using a previous version for lack of time to upgrade but, as soon as I can, I'll install 10.3.1.1154 as reports claim is better than what I now have.

Heartily agree. Blitz and Sachesi make for a painless upgrade. Whoever designed this is a genius and merits our support.
