The only way I can think of is using google play on your computer to make the purchase, download the apk then install it.

You cannot install apps that you have bought. It shows them, but you cannot install them. At least it's not working for me and i can remember that the dev said that it's not possible with his app.

The only way as of yet is to use an android phone or emulator (not sure about this) and buy the app you want, then backup the apk und put it on your blackberry.

There is no way as of yet, also you should have asked this in the Snap Thread instead of creating a new Thread.

    Misleading advice, this.

This functionality is probably coming in Snap 2, but it doesn't work with the current version.

I downloaded and installed Minecraft PE Apk elsewhere. Installed on bb10 and works fine. I did not purchase it though and did not use a droid market

If you have been following the original Snap thread, you would have read that version 2.0 will have the capability to installed paid apps. Release date is planned Feb 1st.

not necessarily since a growing amount of (paid) apps is secured in the app-private folder. You cannot simply backup apps from there, you need root acces and special tools such as titanium backup.

Or you can just use amazon app store, you can pay just fine there from your blackberry but in a lot of cases the apps there are a little older (lower version) than on play.

Right. But Amazon has very limited app selection.

Are you sure it didn't say it needed to download more content and failed?
Cause snap does not support downloading of OBB files. These are extra data that get downloaded on first launch of same apps, usually larger games. You can usually Google search for the missing OBB file
