When you play flappy birds game, you will know how android runtime performance is, between os 10.3.0.700, 10.3.0.1052 and 10.3.0.1154

Android runtime on 10.3.0.700 is faster than other os bb 10.

    Tested with my Z3.

Are you saying .700 is faster than .1052 and .1154 with Android?

Yes... I know. 700 have many bugs. But i tested that game (flappy birds), no lag at all. I tried on 10.3.0.1154, it was slow.

Well, let's hope they use more of the .700 runtime code in the final version of 10.3.

I'm finding apps are loading faster and that it is better integrated. When an app is minimized, I'm receiving notifications / or the led is blinking to reflect updates within the app.

It is about a month or so remaining for official update to hit on our devices if Passport will launch on Sep 24. So waiting for official update would be the best solution for you.

The main problem I find is with Viber as sometimes notifications get late on it. And when we open notifications from the hub, I want Viber toopen by itself like whatsapp so we don't have to open it by hitting the button manually from the bottom bar. (10.2.1.3247)

Fifa 14 got better scaling. Injustice works smoother. Sky gambler: air supremacy is still not working *sad* . Sorry if this posted before. Just sharing.

I think the battery and the heat are aost the same. Probably just a little better. But it could be just because I just wiped n installed the new OS so the battery became a little better.

Android apps are FAST. Very little delay. Not quite native, but getting there. Performs somewhere between an S2 and an S3 based on my experience with both of those phones. Very pleased. As long as they fix some of those bugs I have 0 qualms over Android app performance.

Having runtime like that in s3 is quite a satisfactory thing. Isn't it?

Running like an S2 doesn't sound very good to be honest. The S2 was released almost 3 and a half years ago. It was released over 1 and a half years before BB10 was released

Running like an S3 is much better (assuming you own a Z10), since the S3 and Z10 have almost identical hardware.

For me phone's launch date doesn't matter. The main thing here is the OS. Latest version of s2 or s3 will perform almost identically. So if we can get android performance like that then it means it will always be better than what we have now. And remember one thing, Something Is Always Better Than Nothing.

I just installed .1154 runtime over top of my .1130 and seems to be working fine. Latest IG still crashing but installed 6.2.2 and it's working perfect.

Is it possible to use Google's Pico TTS on 10.3?

This is an offline text-to-speech engine from Google.

I had an Android phone before and I really miss reading out of my textmessages when driving. It would be perfect to have this for every Hub-message. Especially as I travel a lot and driving in the middle of nowhere needs all you concentration, then it's good to have the textmessages read out loud through the bluetooth stereo.

Unfortunatelly, on 10.2.1 I can't even install the Pico TTS.
