I have used it before, but the past few times I can't load a blitz for the life of me. I plug in my Z30, it loads the first few bars a couple of times then disconnects. Someone please help. I don't want to do a clean install all the time, it's getting old

    Shouldn't need to be.

Anyway, Sachesi and/or BlackBerry Device Manager doesn't like my computer's USB hardware, so I end up getting it to work usually right after rebooting the phone and the computer.

I tried that too. I'm on windows 8.1, which I dislike. I even went as far as deleting Sachesi and re downloading

Use Darcy's Tools, it's simpler to use, and way more reliable on Windows 8.1

Try a different cord. I had issues with one. I had numerous cords but ended up buying a new one, and it worked perfectly.

You may also want to turn off the radios before trying to upgrade. That isn't necessary but it is worth a try.

It shouldn't but it fixed the errors every time for me. Don't know why but it is the only way it works for me

Updated my Classic to 10.3.2.281 and couldn't get my pc to recognise my device. Worked after rebooting the PC. I believe there are issues with Windows 8.1, which is what I use. It isn't the first time I've had connection issues with device and PC.

Thank you all for your advice! I have tried different cords, rebooting my computer, and my BlackBerry and no avail. Like I said in the beginning it worked once. How do you use Darcy, it looked hard

Click on installer tab, then click on add. Navigate to the folder with the bar files you want to load and click open. Then hold shift and highlight all bar files and click open. It will paste them all in the field in Darcy's. Then plug in your phone. If you have a password on your phone enter it, and click log in. Then just click on install bar files and let it do it's thing.

Can't see how that's easier, but you've got nothing to lose by trying.

My money's on a funky USB port. I have problems on one Win7 computer, but no problems on a different Win7 computer and a Win8.1 laptop.

The only difference between this and using Sachesi, is that you can't copy and paste a folder, only individual bar files. Otherwise, it's exactly the same process.

Edit: sorry I meant drag and drop, not copy and paste.

I have the same issue with Sachesi and Windows 8.1, so I got used to Darcy's. And once you do it the first time, it's easy and the install never fails.

You're welcome. I personally always use Darcy's, and have for a while, cause Sachesi is always hit or miss on my laptop. I feel better using it too, cause I know the install will never stop part way through, it just works everytime, and it only takes around a half an hour to load a full OS.
