Hello all. Happy Holidays to you.

I've been searching the various forums and trying to find an answer for this problem: When doing a device switch - for example Z30 to Passport - the process does a very good job of transferring everything over; All the accounts, most applications, and all the SNAP installed Android applications.

The issue I'm having is that the device is constantly asking for passwords for things which have already been given passwords. Android Apps are the worst offenders (Waze, LYNC), but even GMail and some Office365 apps, BLAQ, FaceBook and Twitter are being jerks, too.

For me, personally, I am OK with a re-install and NOT recovering from a backup or using Device Switch.

However: 10.3.x is about to launch officially and this is going to be a problem.

ALSO: (worse) is that my boss (the CEO of the company) is running a Passport with this issue and his is severely unhappy and NOT patient enough to re-install everything by hand.

SO: Has anyone come up with a solution for this which does not include re-flashing things and starting again, please?

    Thanks, all.

    Remove all accounts and re-register

Sadly - removing the account (and/or the App) doesn't cure the problem.

I had a similar issue. The problem just stooped after a non destructive upgrade via Sachesi.

    Strange thing.

If you're not using 10.3.1.1154, you can try a non destructive update.

Have this issue as well. Restart / reboot does not fix it.

I have this problem as well with Waze. I tried a security wipe and restore. The notifications came back after a few days. I tried an older version of Waze thinking that might help, but still getting them.

Try the other suggestions, but in my 100+ times experience of loading almost all leaks in the past, you'll have to wipe. It's the problem of restore creating phantom accounts

100%...had this issue with a few leaks. I did "NO" restore of joy last leak and have not had a single notification.

    I've had this issue before.

What fixed it was having an official OS update pushed.
