Okay, so I currently installed the new official OS 10.3.1.1779 and it happens to be the biggest mistake of my life. It's super slow, laggy, most of my android apps aren't even working properly. Reverting back to my previous os is not an option because I really like the camera. Can anyone put me in the loop and suggest me which new os is better for Q10? Also, I need to know how can I download that os.

    Hi Rukha,
first, I'd suggest you give your device some time to settle.
Try to have it plugged to power source and under wifi as much as possible (i.e don't turn bedside mode on tonight, just turn notification to silent if it's near you), this might lower the mandatory time to return to normal (say this might last as long as one full day).
Also, occasionnaly (say once or two times), perform a deep restart by holding the power button until the device shut down/restarts (don't mind the message about restart/stop/abort).

Things should get back to normal.
If not, please keep us posted.

Been there, done that. Never worked. Rebooted it too. I've done everything. It's been more than a week and I'm running out of patience

Sounds like you had a bad install. Time to bite the bullet and wipe and reload with as little restore as possible so you don't restore any of the problems you have.

And while you are doing it, move on to one of the latest OS's that have dropped in the last week or so.

The build you have is an old one.

I really doubt about the install. My cousin is using the same phone as mine. He's been facing the same problem after upgrading to this OS.

This OS was officially up a week ago, i'm not even using a leaked OS. Blackberry has disappointed me a big time. I need a fix for this. Suggest me a good leaked OS which I can switch to till the next release

Just an FYI. Those leaked OSes are official by more than a few providers. The only "leaked /beta OS " in this section that is current is 10.3.2.281. Try 10.3.1.2726

And 1779 is the software Release. The OS is 10.3.1.2576.

2726 or 281 which one seems to be better? I hope they're not laggy and android apps are running properly. Kindly give me the link of the post too so I can download

.281 is a Beta OS, so if you are looking for stability I would go for .2726

Although there are slightly newer OSes out there, I suspect that's not really your problem. I think, as mentioned, you have some flies in the ointment.

I would backup what you can with a 3rd party app like Ultimate Backup, then do a security wipe. You will have to download and setup your apps again, but you will have a clean install now. The backup program can restore your contacts, calendar, sms, media, etc.

    Just don't backup/restore with Link.

I would suggest to download an autoloader like 10.3.1.2243 and don't restore anything. Once u have loaded the leak version you will get the official OS OTA and then download it. I hope that will solve your problem. Let the OS get settled and then you can install all your apps
