I'm running windows 7 through vmware fusion on my mac.
I was able to install BBM Channels through the same setup.

But when I try to run the Z10_1881_Radio.exe I get the following error in the terminal and then it closes itself.
Help - Flash Radio via Mac (VMware)-radioflash.png

Any ideas/suggestions? Has anybody else flashed the radio through a virtual machine on a mac?

    Thanks, in advance!

Sadly, it does not work this way. Try to find someone with a windows pc or use bootcamp.

The reason bbm channels worked is because your device doesn't have to turn off for channels to install

It means you need Bootcamp and not Fusion on your Macintosh! So suck it up and get Bootcamp!

I know what it means, but I was just curious if there was a workaround.

I just reformatted my Mac HD recently and wiped the Windows bootcamp partition thinking I'd never need it again. But the battery life since the official 10.1 update has been brutal, so now I'm on a mission cause I can't wait like this for the next official/carrier push.

There is a workaround. Sachibar can flash radios on Mac. I just haven't compiled it for Mac :\
It'd need to be an official radio too (not a .signed file) so I guess that doesn't help.

I took a look at the EXE as best as I could. Can't break out the app myself. Sorry man.

I'll be first in line if the planets align and you end up compiling it for Mac and an official radio file comes my way. In the meantime... I'm supposed to reformat my brother's Mac. Maybe I'll convince him to let me put bootcamp windows on it and use that.

So much work to get back to decent battery life.
