I thought might be better in a separate thread - do we now have the ability to run current "active frame" apps headless
or does the app developer have to create a modified app to take advantage of 10.2.xxxxx? For example, I run Color Message LED
which must stay open in an active frame - could I now close the app and it will still work?

The API's are only supposed to be available in 10.2, so to answer your question, the applications would have to be changed and recompiled to take advantage of the 10.2 headless support.

Also just to note headless apps were not scheduled to be in this 10.2 beta. They are scheduled to arrive in the update in August.
