I'm having trouble installing the 10.2.0.1767 leak on my Q10. I cannot use the autoloader because I don't have a Windows computer. I extracted the OS and Radio .signed files from autoloader using Sachesi. I have verified the autoloader with md5sum.

I have tried installing the two .signed files through the App Manager chrome extension. I get failure 500 cannot determine package ID.

I tried using Sachesi to install the leak on my Q10. It says "searching for USB device" but never connects. I have tried it with and without a password on my device. I have tried it with my device in development mode and also with the mode turned off. I have also tried both the "Connect to Windows" and "Connect to Mac" settings. I have also tried restarting the Q10 while plugged in. I have verified that the Q10 is detected by the operating system.

I have also tried Sachibar, which is also unable to connect to my Q10. It just says "searching for USB device." I can confirm that the operating system detects the Q10 but for some reason Sachibar does not.

I am finding this quite frustrating. I would just use the autoloader if I had access to Windows, but I don't. What can you guys suggest?

I don't have a mac but if you search you can find how others with a mac were able to install the leak.

They seem to mostly use BootCamp to dual-boot Windows, or else they had success with virtualizing Windows. But I don't have a copy of Windows, so I am trying to find an alternative way that works.

The only thing you can do with a .signed file is to package it into an autoloader. However, you can download the .bar files for 1767/Q10 using Sachesi.

I was able to extract all the bar files from 10.2 with Sachesi. What if I load all those bar files through the App Manager in Google Chrome without loading the radio part? Will it cause problems?

Did you extract the bar files from an autoloader? If so, then loading all of them wouldn't actually update your OS to 1767, and it may or may not work depending on which OS you're coming from.

Yes from the autoloader. I currently have 10.1.0.4181. Surely there must be some way to update the OS without a Windows computer?

Okay, let's try with patching through Sachesi.

You've already split the 1767 autoloader, so you should have every app (I believe there's 144 apps within 1767) that was contained within it, in a folder, each in individual .bar files. And now for the patch files, for Q10, from 10.1.0.4633 (SW 10.1.0.4181) to 10.2.0.1767 (SW 10.2.0.415)

    OS:http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...0_1_0_4633.bar

    RADIO:http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...0_1_0_4634.bar

Download these two, put them with the apps split from 10.2.0.1767 and install them all at once with Sachesi.

I'm not sure all the 10.2 bars will work on a 10.1 os...just a thought...public library?... maybe not. (you need 7zip)
