Not sure what everyone else thinks but for myself I've been have apps open and close on there own. Both on OS 2339 and 2639. Making usage impossible. The apps never fully load. Just a constant open and close cycle. Did an autoloader without a restore. Twice! With no joy!

    Anyone else experiencing this?

I blitzed it and mine is fine. My Z30 is the smoothest it has ever been and great battery life. Sounds like you have a botched install.

Loaded the OS the same way I have been since from the time I installed one of the first leaks. I have not changed any other variable.

The only thing that will kill the open/close cycle is a reboot. Only happens now after an apk is open/used. Then it goes crazy.

What apps are giving you issues?

Are they android APKs and have they been patched to remove dependencies?

As a matter of fact they are apk's. Non of which have been patched.

I'm going to try to reload the android runtime bar again.

I would try as recommended above. Download a new autoloader from a different source.

I suppose all APKs are misbehaving but then if you are only referring to Facebook android or Facebook Messenger android the latest version will not run.

Thought I would update this post -
First I tried to reload the runtime, with no joy!
Then downloaded from a reliable sources a different autoloader, again with no joy.
Apk's are still acting very oddly by opening and closing randomly by them self. To the point the device is unusable until I completely remove them from the device, all apk's.

Not sure what is going on with this.

Reload OS by autoloader, and not to restore backup files or security wipe the device. Check setting app manager installation apps is "ON."

Hi OP, not sure if this is what's happening to your phone as was mine awhile back, but I thought I would throw it out there. I have my bb10 devices but only one active Simcard. So I like switching phones from time to time and using the other devices on WiFi only when the Simcard is placed in the device for the day. Well, one day (I can't remember if I just loaded a new os on to the phone with an auto loader, but I'm pretty that was the case) any android app would open when I click on it but then just close on it's own randomly. I loaded the OS again and even used a different OS with no success.
But by doing this I saw a strange pattern when it seemed to be working and what stopped it from working right.
I noticed that as I was setting the phone up to the way I liked it with all the apps and everything that goes with setting up the phone after a clean install that everything was fine and I mean everything. Android apps were running great and staying opened unless I closed them.
Here is the weird part. I'm all happy the phone is setup and everything appears fine, so I pull my Simcard out of the other phone to put it in the newly setup phone and instantly the android apps were closing again.
It turned out that the phone ran fine when on WiFi but once the Simcard was in was when it went crazy. And only with the android apps and nothing else. Everything else on the phone worked perfectly. I would pull the Simcard out and reboot the phone and it worked great again on WiFi, but the second I put the Simcard back in the android apps would act up.
So I went the the Tmobile store to get a new Simcard and all is well.
The oddest thing was that it only happened in that one phone and all the other phones worked fine with that Simcard; go figure????

So try taking the Simcard out, reboot the phone and run it on WiFi to see it they work fine. If so, you might have this strange thing going on like mine, but I've never heard anyone else report about this ever.

Good luck and let me know if it works. You'll be the second person I know who had experienced this.

In my case, some android apps are getting a force close.

    Autoloaded/upgraded from 10.3.1.xxxx.

Restored from backup with BlackBerry runtime excluded.

Going to find the runtime files from earlier builds and see if they'll help

    Rick -
Our issues sound very similar. The only difference is that I have never swapped Sim cards and on a different network. But you theory seems logical. I will take the Sim card out and give it a try before I go up to my service provider to get a new Sim.

    Thank you!

    That's good to know!

Did you use Blitz package to do the upgrade?

    I'll probably backup, autoload, restore.

Interesting, cuz it doesn't look like the runtime was changed at all in the latest os.
