This is probably the quietest I have seen it around here it terms of what's next for BlackBerry10? Basically everyone on here is running carrier OS and if someone is running a leaked version they are not providing any details.

Is the Venice when we will see 10.3.3 or finally see BlackBerry10 fate?

It's been this quiet for a long time. Who cares? Obviously BlackBerry 10 development has slowed down, but it's still ongoing.

It was about a month and a half ago for those with unlocked devices purchased straight from BlackBerry.

Ohh yeah forgot... the last leak from four weeks ago or so... nothing wrong with that.. running sweet and reliable.. no point swooping over to a new buggy hybrid leak...

Actually, development is all but stopped. Sorry to point out the obvious, but there are no released plans for 10.3.3 or 10.4 or 11. You can go to the BB developers website and look around. The absence of timeline or announced plans or really much of anything developer wise for months, since they basically told developers to stop developing in Cascades and start putting their apps on Amazon. It should have been a clue when the Amazon apps never appeared in BB World or were written in Cascades. But the writing is on the wall, and in between the lines and all around.

Does this mean there will be no more 10.3.2 OSes? Of course not. But it does mean for now - (I said for now, not forever) there are no new development plans.

Well, other than what is being held under tight wraps under a separate server... to be clear - I have not seen or heard or am aware of any thing. The prior line was not intended to imply otherwise, it was merely a nod to the other theorists out there.

10.3.3 is in development. Developer road maps are what's missing and probably won't come.

Agree, the secrecy of the next OS and device is really high this time and the slow development isn't because of summer break but because of focus has been shifted in another direction that doesn't concern us now in BlackBerry's opinion.
Don't forget the droidberry that has been delayed from August to November and possibly later than that. Per Chen: "iPhone competitor"

No one really knows, but we'll speculate to our hearts content!

Personally I don't even know what to think anymore at this point, I'm hoping it's more he's just got it hush hush and they're using different build servers now :S

Typically, leaks should increase in frequency as a major release date approaches, then almost immediately drop off as development shifts to begin the VERY early development of the next major release. We might see a few more 10.3.2 variants with very small changes, but 10.3.3 is the major focus right now, and it will be in internal testing (and not on servers) before we can expect to see much of anything else. 10.3.3 is many months from release - I wouldn't expect to see any 10.3.3 leaks for at least 6-8 weeks, if then.

Assuming a major deviation in development hasn't already occurred, of course.

I don't think anyone who lays off people in the hardware division can accomplish what we want to see,but they got to thread water and wait for their partners to kick it into second gear.

    My personal prediction:

They are gearing up and secretly working on first blackberry running full Android OS instead of BB10.

They realized that it's the OS and surrounding ecosystem (or lack thereof) that is holding them back and the reason why their market share is so small.

10.3.2.x has already been just a maintenance/bug fixes OS.

It pains me to say it, but within a year, we'll see first Android BlackBerry and consequently last BB10 blackberry.

After that, there will be one more year of legacy support in form of 10.3.3.x and BB10 OS will follow the fate of PlayBook.

Sadly what they haven't realized is they need to spend lots of Cash on marketing because they have great product and no audience.

Hello Sir, please stop spreading false information. If you go on to BlackBerry's Blog site, they specifically said production on 10.3.3 has already begun. Take a read in the last line.....

No way, man! I just came from Android!

We DON'T need the Android OS running on BB phones. Just the inclusion of some patches on the official PlayStore apk, so most people can download directly from it, instead of side loading. I just don't know if the contract with Amazon would prevent that.
