Has anyone used Google map on 10.2.1.1925. I installed it through Snap, but it freezes regularly during use.

I have noticed that it comes out of freeze state if you minimize it to active frame and come back.

I haven't had any issues. Maybe a restart would help.

No, you still need Google services, which doesn't work.

Tried it. Apk installer says "This app cannot be installed".

But maps work fine without it.

Not a clue why y'all are having install issues. Mine worked perfectly on Z10STL100-4/10.2.1.1925.

First you need the right version of google maps, 7.02 to be exact.
Then install all 3 files as well in this package. The google music is to invoke the google login page and once you're in you can delete it afterwards.
Now, I didn't make any of these and I don't take credit for any of them, so thank the community here. I'll do my best find the references.

Enjoy and don't forget to thank Moneytoo and the rest for their hard work and dedication.

P.S.: this has been and still is working on 10.2.0.x and not just 10.2.1.x

I was mulling over trying this, does it need to be exactly version 7.0.2? I'm running 7.5.

Somehow recent versions of Google Maps do not run on 10.2.x with STL1. Somehow it freezes after a few seconds. And only the maps screen freezes, you can still go into settings etc but when you come back on maps page it is still stuck at the same view. All GMaps versions run nicely on 10.1.x and all of them run nicely on non STL1 handsets with all OS versions.

I have 200 MB of different GMaps versions (different versions, for different APIs & different Android versions etc etc)
Had to finally settle for running 6.14 - which runs perfectly fine and has offline maps etc. Its just the OCD of running the latest version which still needles me to keep trying. So will try this 7.02. This is one version I have not tried.

BUT, google login works 100% with moneytoo's methods linked above.
I have all my history and home/office and starred places etc. In fact once google login is done I have found many other apps also take it from there and I can use them now while earlier they would quit because of requiring google login.

Will update if 7.02 works on 10.2.1.1925/STL1 shortly.

From my testing, yes. 7.5 will work but you won't get your favorites marked on the map and neither will you be able to see or set your home and work location...so the version I supplied is the BEST that I know of, everything in this version works and I do mean everything.
