I'm downloading it already; I can't tell how big is the file it just downloads but I already passed the 1.22GB mark EDIT : It's actually 1.25GB for STL100-2.

Since I already extracted the 1047 BARS (including sys.xxx) before due to my debugging for that Facebook integration thing. I might experiment regarding Hybrids. Will do when I get home XD

Trying to decide if I should add a section for Dev Builds or just include them in the Hybriding section?
Currently (hint hint) I'm including them in the hybrid section.

Yeah it's due to the long leak. I'll fix it. I think I'm going to add auto-update to the app, I have an idea that just... might... work.

This app is ad supported, but a donation via PayPal removes the ads.

If you have any questions, just post them in this thread.
I made my PayPal donation 4-Aug. (Hate ads.)
How does this work to ditch the ads?

You should have gotten an unlock code that you can use if you do an update and can't restore.
If you switch devices or lose your code send me a PM.

Want me to PM the PayPal receipt to you?

It still would have applied automatically, but you need to give the app permission to access your pin (and shared files if you want to save it). I saw your donation on PayPal. PM or email me your pin. You'll need to enable Device Info permissions though to enter the pass code. That permission is required to access your pin in the app.

    Alright...
Version 1.3 is live. Same link as the first two.

Version 1.3 has a very cool new feature - in app upgrades. That means that after you use the 1.3 installer, minor upgrades and bug fixes will be possible without requiring you to run the installer
All you do to install an in-app update is swipe down from the top and select "Update"
Major upgrades may still require the use of an installer, but you'll get an in-app notification if that's the case.
1.3 also includes a search for Dev OS builds.
    Enjoy!

Lol! True, but almost everyone does, and making that assumption means one less step for people who want to install the app
I originally had you enter your IP manually (I use the same installer as a customer support tool) but too many people got confused.

I renamed leakCheck to OScheck and submitted it to BlackBerry World as a free app (using a $0.99 in app purchase to unlock ads rather than a PayPal donation). If it gets approved I'll refund everyone who donated to date

If you want to quickly and easily check if there's a new BB10 OS leak, this is the perfect app for you.
leakCheck is an originally-simple-but-became-fairly-complicated-as-I-went-along app that lets you check if a new BB10 leak is available.

There's really not much to explain. Once it's installed, you launch the app, select your BlackBerry type (I couldn't find an API to automate that).
    There's 6 options:
    Z10 STL100-1 Current
    Z10 STL100-2/3/4 Current
    Q10/Q5 Current
    Z10 STL100-1 Next
    Z10 STL100-2/3/4 Next
    Q10/Q5 Next
    Latest OS (regardless of Device)
    Dev Builds

Current denotes updates that follow the current official track. That is, 10.1 updates right now.
Next denotes updates that are an entirely new version from what is currently available from most carriers, if available. So right now, 10.2 updates.

Once you've selected what you want to look for, click "Check for Updates". If there's no update, you'll get a "no new updates" message.
If there's an update available, you'll get a notification stating as much and a link to the thread on CrackBerry (or wherever) to download it.

    INSTALLING
Installing is easy. Just download the .exe (sorry Mac users) and run it to automatically sideload the app to your BlackBerry.

    A few last points:
This app is ad supported, but a donation via PayPal removes the ads.
This app does (obviously) require an internet connection.
If I update the app, you might get a notification when you check for updates. I haven't decided if that's worth the effort yet.
Update notifications might lag behind leaks because I'm managing the backend that notifies you of new updates. It's an easy thing to do, but since there's no way to predict leaks it requires some human actions.
This app requests Device Information (to get your pin) and File Access (to save your unlock code if you make a donation). If you don't want to remove ads, you don't need to allow those.
This goes without saying, but: I don't collect or want your personal information.
This app will be maintained for as long as I feel like maintaining it. So, probably a long time. Unless no one downloads/uses it lol.

If you have any questions, just post them in this thread.

    Oh, and of course:
Download Link: Version 1.3, released 11:30pm PST on Aug 14 2012.

Updates in v1.3: In-App updating; Check for Dev OSes.
Updates in v1.2: bug fix for Q users on 10.2 (fix in v1.1 only worked for OS 10.1).
Updates in v1.1: Check for latest OS regardless of whether it'll work for you; Get leakCheck Version Number from Swipe Down menu; UI Fix for Q10 users.
To automate device selection you could read the output of the myver command and parse out the model. Just an idea

I can detect whether it's a Z or a Q but not if it's and STL100-1 or not. I could use myver but whoever is using the app would have to type Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1047 and hit space or enter to change it.

    Hi, just saw this.
By the way, not sure why you stuck it in a .exe. This makes it harder to install for people who don't use Windows or people who don't have dev mode/169.254.0.1/usb set up.
Anyone who wants the .bar can still easily get it. I found it easier to extract it and sideload manually over wifi.

This app only searches for leaked OSes, unless a carrier has put out an OS newer than the leaks.
