    Happy and sad... happy to know BB is pumping up for the next version of BB10. Sad to see it is tested on a quad core with 2.xGhz processor, most likely it would be pack with lots of feature that the good old z10 might be too slow to handle. The current 10.2.1 for instance installs miracast in my z10 that isnt compatible in the first place, wasting precious memory.

    It's actually smart to do it that way. One team works on updating and fixing issues on the base os now 10.2.1 essentially the MR update.

    Second team working in the fall back os if 10.3 doesn't play well with whatever in time for a device release.

    I think it's common practice.
