You and the guy you replied to. Search for elephant analytics guy on seeking Alpha. He recently wrote and article explaining the details. And no not all the money is flash, if you read what I wrote I say adobe air and flash. And I am sure there are others.

And no the zeros are not messed up.

And no I couldn't be bothered to go search the links and provide so you can make semi informed decisions based on just what I would provide. But I have given you a starting point. So you have an opportunity to educate yourselves.

Are you trying to be smart?

You got the story all wrong. Read it again with comprehension next time before posting and making dumb comments.

Turns out it wasn't BlackBerry direct quote but an analyst estimate. And not on flash or air specifically but IP and royalty fees in general that could be anything from software to hardware.

Need better job from you next time.

    Lmfao ahahahahahhaha

Sounds like he's one of the guys who works at Seeking Alpha..

That is literally the most bullish news site i have ever come across! They post articles blowing things out of proportion and will always find a con or some way to say something BlackBerry is doing is negative. It's ridiculous!

And because it's technically 'credible news' there's no way to say, downvote it, and it's too small for BlackBerry FactCheck to actually do something about it.

Not sure if it was SA or another site, but i remember how bullish the article was and i was reading the comments and they're all talking about how ridiculous the article is and how since they own so many shares in Apple (and post it beneath every article) that they should stop 'reporting' on BlackBerry news.

    I completely agree with them..

    Just a note:

The spec sheet for all BB10 devices has and continues to indicate that BB OS10 devices support Flash - KB13156-Adobe Flash support for BlackBerry smartphones and BlackBerry PlayBook tablets

Kind of hope no one buys a new $600 device in part based on this.

Yeah but you're not part of the beta so your experience doesn't matter. People much better suited to agree with BlackBerry will provide the feedback that BlackBerry needs to justify what BlackBerry wanted anyway.

It will be interesting to find out at a time when the official software is out if BlackBerry make any comment about flash being gone.
I'm sure they'll be glorifying all the customisation functions brought back into the classic from BBOS. But will they have balls to say flash is gone?
    Steve Jobs had.

The answer is simple - no. If they wanted to announce it they would have already informed users that there is planned removal of Flash in 10.3.1. They are trying to fly it under the radar to minimize defections and negative press.

Yes this one thing is upsetting me. If flash is really gone they should have announced it some time ago so people would be aware. They did mention Air was gone but not Flash specifically.
Now they say to beta zone users "as you know flash is gone". I ask how do we know? You (BlackBerry) never said anything about it going anywhere!

If they fly it under the radar that would be practice of a petty company and not a serious corporation.

All the websites I'm listing pictures for above are working in Chrome on my nexus 7 tablet.

If blackberry is hoping to drop flash at least get a better user agent like iOS and Android or get apps.

I have also noticed the browser is much slower in 10.3.1 vs 10.3 and 10.2.1. Not sure if the removal of flash is the reason why. My nexus 7 browser, chrome and Opera mini are all now faster than bb10 browser, that was never the case before.

There is really no reason to keep posting sites. I could spend 12 hours a day for a month posting sites I use every day that are Flash dependent. It does not matter, only the most ignorant among us, proclaim Flash is dead. Flash was just updated on Monday to 12.--. Flash is everywhere and most of the web that utilizes flash does not provide a mobile HTML5 compliant site.

Again, this is not rocket science. This is basic logical reasoning. BB announced some time ago and has promoted extensively that they were ending support for Adobe AIR. If this were not a 'big deal' BB would have announced an end of Adobe Flash support as well. They haven't. In fact, as I posted yesterday, the Flash KB article is still up on BB's site, indicating that BB Browser has flash support. It may seem like you are arguing with a person, but when it turns out that its a rock, continuing to argue is silly.

A bunch of people said they wanted examples of sites that needed flash. I think that proof through exhaustion is effective when people are in rabid denial.

Also maybe BlackBerry is just waiting to go to 12.
