Can I use Sachesi to downgrade from 10.3 to this?
Are you trying to do a non destructive downgrade? If so, no. You need to run the autoloader and lose the data...

Oh ok but he happens to mention 10.3 which is unrelated to this thread and this build I guess? It might be fixed. I don't know.
Hopefully what MC ment by "measures have been put in place prior to the full solution" means thats its been fixed or at least improved on in this release.

I'm not noticing a thing. But the front page says improved battery life. My battery wasn't bad on 3175. But for Z10's sake I hope it's true that the battery is better. My poor brother has to bring batteries with him to work and change them every few hours. Just sitting in his holster not using it.

But I'd say this to you. If it comes OTA then do it. If it were me I wouldn't go through using an installer unless you enjoy the process. It's not worth it as far as I can tell. But then again maybe there are things in this release I can't tell yet. (like the battery or the wifi limited connection problem).

Thanks again Doggerz. Funny the OTA dropped this morning and i'll be checking if 'am one of the lucky ones to be hit with it. Meanwhile, you may wana try the 3175 os with the 2274 radio. Its really good at least for me here in Ghana, but thats only if your 3140 radio isn't doing much for you. God bless

Not thurask, the STL 100-4 is Verizon specific, which is nice for us on Verizon.

I thought there might be a fix for the "big SD card" (exFAT) being inaccessible over Link with this release, but sadly that is not fixed...

I have not noted any differences over 3175 as of yet.

Has anyone been able successfully to restore from a 10.3 backup? I'm thinking of going back down to 10.2.1 but I'm unwilling to do it without a restore.

Pretty sure you can't go backwards with restores only forward.

That's what I thought too, but you never know. Well, I'll muddle along with 10.3.

Darcy's DBBTool can be used to change the backup version, i.e., change your 10.3.0.xxxx to a version equal to or lower than the OS you would be reverting to. You can also manually edit the Manifest.xml file if you so desire, but you may end up corrupting the backup if you are not careful. So, yes, it can be done. That said, I would not recommend using a 10.3 backup when reverting to 10.2.1.xxxx as there are too many dissimilarities in the OS. Hopefully you kept a backup from your last good 10.2.1.xxxx setup.
