Installed OS bar only, left AT&T radio and all other apps alone along with core Hybrid support (same versions anyway). OS bar was megs smaller then previous and battery life did increase greatly. No other improvements noticed yet. This is with heavy Bluetooth. WiFi, Cell, Texting, iGran, Reddit and some Twitter (Willow). Rebooted at 14hrs of use to get a re-calculation of actual battery percent left (figured that would be reasonable after 14hrs of steady use). That gave me about another 9% more. You will see the hump gain in the graph bar. Here is a screen shot later after the restart. Over previous OS version the battery life was increased by my estimate around 35 to 45%. Of course use and signal may vary actual result but that still is a hell of a increase over other versions. Should get even better by a small margin with a few more hours and reboots. JMO

You know. I usually don't put stock in claims of battery life.

And when I first installed, it was much worse.

But a couple of days I'm. And I have to say, battery is very impressive.

Potentially better than the last version, and that was great.

Surprised nobody drew tangents to the latest 10.3 battery performance. It is stellar as well. Guess the 10.2 line was a beneficiary of whatever tweaks they made there. Of course it's always device specific, some see it, others don't. But my Z30 definitely loves these changes. Seems the OS is being tuned towards the high capacity non-removable battery devices. Just a hunch.

My Z10, on AT&T in a rural area, is running a lot cooler with this code set. Cooler=less energy dissipation (and that energy comes from the battery).

Since upgrading to 3247, when I put the phone in bedside mode it seems to shut off the mobile network. When I swipe up to take the phone out off bedside mode, there is a red X in the top right hand corner where 4G LTE, the blackberry icon and signal bars should be. Then about 2 seconds later they reappear. Out of curiosity, I put the phone in bedside mode again and sure enough when I took it out of bedside mode the red X was in the top right hand corner. I quickly went to the network settings and it showed the network was off. Then it automaticallly went back on. I dont recall this happening on any prior 10.2.1 OS versions.

Check and make sure that wireless connections are turned on for bedside mode.

I think there is an option in settings of the clock to turn off radio when in beside mode..
Check that.. Load Clock, swipe down from top see settings, see: Wireless
Connection in Beside Mode (toggle) and Phone Calls In Bedside Mode (toggle)..
    Good Luck..

hellow. @Akawarrior, you have mentioned, that you loaded only OS bar. Can you name it precisely?
downloaded core os, extracted. So, what bar should I load?
I have loaded some bars from 10.3.0.700 bars for 10.2, so guessing some of them will be replaced?
