I'm still having problems with my bt connection.

Sic wiped and re installed 10.3.2.600 and connection still keeps dropping.
My second passport is on stock 10.3.1 and no problems. It might be an OS but if I don't get a solution I'll try BlackBerry and swap but I'm not sure if they'll take the phone if it's loaded with a leak... oh well...

Same here exactly. Hard to understand how some Passports with 680 are OK with BT and others not. As mentioned earlier, I sent my logs to BlackBerry and they said it was the OS, but of course I don't know if they even looked beyond the fact that I was using an unauthorized leak. I did have some disconnects with my other PP (replaced for an unrelated reason) using 10.3.1 and 10.3.2.500, but not as bad as with this PP and 680. My BT Plantronics headset does hold the connection if I'm on a call or streaming, but not when idle, so it's usable but a major annoyance. Sounds more like the OS than a hardware problem, per se, but then again, why not on all Passports?

I don't know what to do, either, but if a new 10.3.2 beta ever comes out and I still have the problem I think I'll try to exchange it under warranty, because that would mean that even an official 10.3.2 OS would likely have the problem.

I'll try and get a hold of BlackBerry tech support on Monday and see what happens. It's not something that I can't live without but it's just annoying that I can't connect via Bluetooth.

Whatever happens I'll post the results.

Good luck--to both of us. If you ask for a solution to the problem, and if they will deal with you directly, at all--they theoretically only offer free direct support for the first 30 days after purchase, and may ask for a proof of purpose. I had gotten my exchange Passport from Amazon a couple weeks ago, and it was a "purchase" for $0. After 30 days, they say to go to your carrier. If you bought it from Amazon, there is no "carrier." For my replacement Passport the first time, which was due to a defective USB port, Blackberry and Amazon each told me that the other was responsible, until I put the pressure on Amazon, telling them I had bought thousands of dollars of stuff from them over the years, and then they did a swap. I don't know if they'll do that for me a second time if it appears to be necessary.

Again, it's hard to believe that this issue, even if it's hardware related, in part, can't be solved by an OS fix, just like the flickering problem that was said to be hardware related until the 10.3.1.2708 or something OS miraculously solved the hardware problem unique to the Passport.

One problem I have noticed with 10.3.2.680 is that the changes to the volume using the volume up and down keys stops after a couple of hours . It is fixed on a restart, but the issue comes bank once again. Also saw th is in 10.3.2.500.

Anyone else had a similar experience and better still have a fix for this?

I got my Passport through AT&T and they have a year warranty. I will call AT&T and then they will connect me to BlackBerry on a conference call.

Whatever solution we come up with, other than an exchange, I'll have the details out. I'm not sure how many others are experiencing this issue but there are at least the two of us.

There actually is more than the two of us with this BT problem. One other is Smokeaire, who has detailed his own problems on this thread and on one other. He and I both have unlocked Passports (square cornered) and you have the AT&T, so we know the problem isn't limited to one type of Passport or the other. We are all running 680 right now, and can't go back, but i can assure you that the disconnect problem was there, albeit it much less so, with OS 10.3.1, and when I had another Passport of the same type.

Given that I sent in my logs, about 6 mb worth, to BB directly, and they couldn't tell me anything more than that it was an OS issue rather than a hardware problem, per se (as I said, I have no idea how deeply their engineers looked at the log), and that given that I was on a non-downgradeable beta OS, there was nothing more that BB could or would do. Amazon will probably do another exchange if I push hard enough, and AT&T will likely do an exchange for you without pushing much at all. In either case, I suppose we both would be advised not to upgrade the OS to 10.3.2 (probably OK to upgrade to 10.3.1.2744) until there is an official release or until many users on CB report no BT problems with a subsequent 10.3.2 OS.

My guess is that there is an undefined variability in the Passport chips, maybe even a random one, that lets some Passports work well with BT devices and others, not, just as not all Passports had flickering problems with the stock OS (10.3.0 and lower 10.3.1 versions), but when the higher 10.3.1 OS versions were released, the flickering disappeared on all Passports.

I can't imagine that BlackBerry support will or can come up with more than that at this point. Maybe they will surprise both of us. Or maybe in the next couple of days there will be a new 10.3.2 leak, which we might as well try, on the theory of "in for a dime, in for a dollar." At the very least, though, AT&T should swap out your Passport under warranty, because you haven't violated that warranty or done anything illegal with your Passport. The warranty is violated by opening up the Passport physically, but not by installing software, I don't believe.

    Do you use active Sync?
For me it's an old problem that is coming back from time to time on different os releases.
Impossible to sync anything and high cpu load. That can't be healthy for the device and the battery...

Installed 10.3.2.680 using Autoloader from 10.3.1.2744 on Z10 STL100-3 with AT&T service. Install went smooth. Backed up phone with Link but only re-installed "Settings". Did 3 re-sets within the first 6 hours of operation. Only re-installed my critical apps as it looks like it takes 3 to 5 days to settle. So far, no issues - battery life is the same, all email accounts good, apps running ok including an update to the Amazon store. Very happy with the download and all the help I get from reading other posts.

First of all, I want to apologize to all that are having troubles with this build. I've been there and I hope you get sorted.

As for me and my wife with our VZW Z30's, no build has been better for us, including the factory installed OS.

No issues with BT. I was linked to a BT speaker for about four hours yesterday with no problems.
Phone, text, email, and BBM all work great!
For those Wazers out there: For the heck of it, I tried the voice option to input an address or place of business and it works perfectly. Before for me, whenever I hit the microphone symbol, it would force close the app. Now works like a charm.
Battery life is I N S A N E for me now! I couldn't make 6-7 hours before but now I'm up to about 27 hours average. Phone is cooler than a cucumber.
I DID NOT restore any part of the phone after installing .680 I've always had an issue after restoring. All I did was back up my contacts on in touch contacts app and restored from there. No Link restore.
The only thing BlackBerry can do to make this a better OS is if they figure out a way to have hundred dollar bills spit out of my HDMI port. I never want to see anything 10.3.1 ever again!

Never had one BT disconnect or choppy playback on 10.3.1

.680 is chopping a lot, BT connection definitely not as stable for me.

    I did a non-destructive update on my AT&T Passport.

It seems like most people who did a non-destructive update gets weird bugs. I suggest you try to run the 10.3.2.680 autoloader and not restore anything related to settings (or not restore at all)
