Findings and Fixes for Leaked OS 10.3.1.2267-img_20150210_084708.png

Best battery life ever on my Z30. While it was on battery save mode during the night (bedside mode), interesting that it seems to make no difference.

You feel or see there's an improvement in cell signal?

Have tested where I know the level of signal with my carrier and see an improvement, with a Z30 on WIND

We won't have album covers, still, the runtime has not changed

Here you go, side load these bars with Sachesi and you'll be good: https://mega.co.nz/#!xx9GQLrZ!pknPdC...CAz6GAjKzkOVXk

Would be more helpful if you said what your previous OS was so people can properly compare.

Have used all the available radios with their respective OS, 2073, 2244, recently. Anyone who uses the WIND network knows what happens when you enter a building. Yesterday I was able to use my data at a respectable rate in one of those poor signal locations I frequent

I don't know if I am going to downgrade to 2243 core, 2267 radio, because my battery life is not what it should be. Its had enough time to 'settle' down, from my experience. I reloaded the core last night, still seems disappointing today

I removed the core OS and radio from the blitz package for the QC devices, as I didn't want to do a destructive update, and installed just the updated bar files in my Z10-3.

Everything seems to work smoothly. Only issue noted that was that the first time I run any of the updates bars they took a moment, as if to setup or something, then it's smooth sailing from then on out. Haven't been able to find a core OS and Radio that Sachesi will install on it though.

Edited: Only thing I've noticed that didn't work, was voice input for texting.

Yes I've noticed that too that battery saving mode doesn't seem to save any battery rundown, also still get emails, texts, BBM's while in battery saving mode, shouldn't it turn the radio off? I'm running the latest leak by the way

We have got to remember that these are leaked OS's that we are not supposed to have !!!

Sure that they are working to sort it, but for now, we have to live with it or run an Official OS on our Passports.

Being WIND customer, I can definitely attest to this as well. Also, when I was using the 2244 radio, I had several disconnections from the cellular network a day alongside poorer battery life. After flashing the 2073 radio again, everything immediately went back how it was before.

Thank you for your testing Paul86. Be sure to downgrade back to 2243 core as I can personally attest that the Z30 runs best on it now. I may end up creating a hybrid for us Z30 owners on AWS networks.

That depends on your settings for Battery Save mode. You can decide whether it will disable data or not

So far with this build, I've tried the radio file that comes with it, the one from 2244 and 2073, all of which are showing garbage connection.
Where I would always have full signal, I'm getting 2 bars. Even my Wifi is dipping a bar off and on.

I've never had issues with signal strength running leaks. I went from 10.3.1.2072 with the .2073 radio, it had no issues. Now on 10.3.1.2267 with .2073 radio and it's struggling to even keep LTE before dropping to H+.

It almost feels like it might be coincidence and possibly an issue with Bell (unless I'm missing something). I'll know more when my roommate gets home and I can compare the signal strength.

As in my personal experience, system settles down after 3 or 4 days, it depends on accounts you're syncing. Afterwards goes indexing.
So system usage, more than 5%, is the reason of poor battery life.

Have you tried going back to 2243 core? I find that plus the applications from 1955 (haven't tried the ones from 2267 yet) and the 2073 radio gives me the best battery life thus far.

I don't know this is new or old and i just never noticed it but if My Passport is sitting on the table i can press the "U" button to wake up the screen. I find that a very useful feature.

It seems to me that the new leak has a problem with a sharp and distinct characters, both the system and the browser. It's quite unreadable and insipid.
