Does Q10 run better on this? I am on .2558 at the moment. I read somewhere in the early pages that this is branded to the Q's.

Hi, how is the notification volume on this one. I am running 10.3.1.2582 and just so happy with the volume levels on this update. Often I work in noisy environment and it's a major issue for me when I am riddled with OS having inherently weak volume levels. If anyone has dibs about volume level for notifications it will be great help. I might skip this leak for want of any comparative information as I am very pleased with present one otherwise and at much peace knowing I won't miss any notifications.

Notification volume on both my Classic and my girlfriend's Q5 is nice and loud. The issue with notification volume has been resolved as of a few releases ago (I want to say either software release 10.3.1.1767 or 10.3.1.1779 if memory serves correct).

Yea, last version it was working for me was 10.3.0.1054 I think. Didn't hop on the 10.3.1 train until the recent leaks in the 1500+ range.

    Posted via CB10
I attempted to contact BB to ask about it, apparently their support team seems to think that MOGA can magically resolve the issue despite the fact that it works on older OSes, and that rolling back to earlier OSes makes it work again, clearly demonstrating that the problem is not with the controller but with whatever they changed in how the OS is handling the controller. Passing the buck basically. I'd be pi**ed, but I just found a way to make Blend work on a Z10 running 10.3.0.1052, so I may be rolling back until they get their act together.

The notifications are still adjustable. But I also noticed that the sounds seem even louder...I had to turn em down a bit.

I have read about "Darcy's tool" here in the forums. But i don't actually know what they do - i just assume it is about making autoloaders since Sachesi cannot make autoloaders. Over the years, i have just used BBSAK and Sachesi...On Sachesi, installing a new OS is so easy and simple. Just run the search codes and download for my device and installing is just a click away instead of looking for debrick and whatever files. No need to find and download specific files since Sachesi does it all.

Camera scrolling of filters seems smoother, also noticed a few new video editing options under enhance that weren't there before other than slow motion. At least I don't remember them being there, like Old Film, which actually looks pretty cool

    Hello All,
I am not too sure if anyone notice this using the BB Q10. I've ugpraded to this latest firmware and yet i see this comparison in sound which previously back in 10.2 - i dont recall i had this issue on notification (- sound volume played on notification alert such as alarm and ringtones are equally the same when you're playing the mp3 file using Music).

I've tested on this latest software release and i notice that the volume is still lower comparative to the actual sound volume being played using the Music player - if you select a song as the tone. Am I missing any configuration here as i have pulled the volume level to the maximum and yet facing similar issues.

    Thanks guys.

So I just happen to open my music to listen to something before bed and noticed I now have a radio option... and it works. I use my Z30 for music multiple times a day and never saw it there so I can only assume it's new to this build.

Z30(STA100-6) Updated to 2708, using the core/radio blitz (thank you to the gentleman who made it available) with Sachesi.

Carrier signal reception seems a little improved, especially on 4G which I was previously not able to receive at all in the area where I live. Since upgrading to 2708, I get a fairly consistent (albeit a bit weak) 4G signal there.

Possibly a slight improvement in wifi signal also, although it still refuses to see my 5GHz network unless I force my router to channel 48. (It still remains my perception, that wifi signal performance was more robust in the 10.2.1 builds).

Calendar time travel by rotation is still there in month view.

I've never experienced the much-lamented audible keyboard feedback in any build - mine remains silent in the default "Normal" profile.

I've never experience any of the issues mentioned around call answer delays or vibrations on any build.

    Battery life seems slightly improved.

Advanced interaction is working fine - have never had a problem with it on any build.

Android apps working fine - no issues.

Hub notifications seem to be working fine - I can't speak for Android notifications as I don't presently use any Android apps that interact with the hub.

Contacts sharing issue seems still present, although I've managed to get mine working (my solution posted on the appropriate thread).

Overall speed/smoothness performance has always been good - no change there.

In general, this one is a keeper for me.

Installed in my Q10 after getting fed up waiting for somebody to reply to my Question.
Notification volume still sux far behind 10.2.1 (Every 10.3.1 build gives the same output for me). I dint check any other things in my Q10, coz this is the only thing that makes me go back to 10.2.1. Will wait this week for a newer leak or official. If nothing comes, I am going back to my Luvly OS.
And thank you all those who did this OS on ur Q10 and had notification volume low and dint post here..

For me the "vibrate-after-pickup" issue still there. (STL 100-1) I came from 2558 with Sachesi. Would it make any difference if i do a wipe and push this version with autoloader?

These are the settings for notifications on my Q10. They are not set at full max for they are loud enough at these settings. Although admittedly, they were not loud enough when I was on an earlier 10.3.1 OS, which I believe was .2243 or earlier.
