I had an issue with the previous two versions I ran (2558 and 2576) where when I was done with a call and pulled the Passport away from my head, I couldn't hang up. The quick setting pane would be down, wouldn't go up, and I couldn't activate the end call button on the phone app. Calls ended okay when the other party hung up.

Since installing 2744, the 6 or so calls I've made didn't exhibit this behavior, so this may be something that was corrected.

Exactly. Most threads like this are useless.

An official changelog might be coming soon, but otherwise, actual changes are indiscernible from the placebos and other chaff.

Anyway, Life Data is back in the settings.

Yes, change logs are bound to come when this release gets distributed. I wouldn't be surprised if this update only fixes one or two miniscule issues. At this point. I think 2744 is as stable as 25xx - 270x.

Liked the above post for the use of the word chaff :-)

I'm seeing excellent battery life on this release with both of our devices (a Classic and a Q5), and no other issues to report.

Some positive and encouraging comments are motivating me towards trying this out.. although I'm on 2708 and its running fine for me... but still this seems good enough to kill my time until 10.3.2 branch gets stable enough

Loving this OS so far. Getting great battery life (almost 48 hours) with moderate to intense use, whereas on a previous leak (.2726) I would only get around 24 hours. Overall snappiness and fluidity adds to the amazing impression! Highly recommended update!

    Hello boys and girls,

Have to say this version is the best of the best.
Holy ssss..... everything is so quick and it just works splendid.
    Thank you very much BlackBerry.

Like always I go straight with the autoloader. No wiping before nor after and don't use any backup .

If I were you, I woke just load this version and end of story.

Best regards and stop fighting with each other hahahahaha

By the way my opinion is regarding the Z10

Seems good. No problems. WiFi signal strength appears to be improved in this leak.

Installed this with Blitz over 2726 a few days ago. In all honesty, I was extremely happy with 2726 as I really didn't have any major bugs or issues with it. 2744 continues to be pretty much perfect for me on my Q10. Yesterday, I took my Q10 off charger at 6:10AM and last night before going to bed I had 46% left around 10:30PM - and that includes 2 one-hour long phone calls during my day on top of emails intermittent calls, etc... I could have probably kept it off charger and maybe still have battery life into this afternoon if I had wanted.

The only new thing I noticed (and it might have been on previous release and maybe I missed it) but when on an active call if I go to home screen the phone icon in lower left corner is now green to signify an active phone call.
One minor problem/annoyance I noticed is if I'm on a very long phone call and after like 20 minutes pull phone away from my face to use, the screen doesn't wake up. I have to press the power button to wake up screen. Maybe it's a new power saving feature (that it doesn't continuously try to detect if phone is next to face during a long phone call?) Not a big deal, but it seem to be something different from previous builds.

Can confirm that. Also browsing through the CB app is warming the battery pretty much. Battery drain is higher than on .2582.

I hope 10.3.2 is developing fast and there will be an official non-Device bricking update.

    Non Bricking update ???

Do you mean a 10.3.2 that allows you to roll back to 10.3.1 ???

If so, not going to happen, it's all to do with the new "improved" Protect service.

No I mean a non-bricking update as in it comes OTA or via link and doesn't make the phone unusable. Like the first official 10.3.1 release. I think it was 10.3.1.2243.

OK, get where you are coming from now.

Not much wrong with 10.3.2.500 IMO and you can load it non destructively with Sachesi.

All depends on how much you value the ability to roll back to 10.3.1 as to whether or not you want to load it up.

Thank you for the brief in this, and I'm sorry for the off topic. I appreciate your words, they actually helped leaning towards an install of 10.3.2.500.

I'm a bit scared actually but only for one reason. I rely on this phone, when this doesn't work properly it's not good for my daily business as a student. Couldn't afford a new one anyway.

Battery draining like crazy since morning... down to 20% from 60% in 8 hours...

Will wait and see if it improves or roll back to 2708...

Everything seems smooth.. and radio performance the same... not really a great improvement from 2708 so far..

Just when I thought BB might be getting the contacts app in order. Issue today on 2744 with contacts not doing what I ask. Have BBM contacts shut off, yet there they are in the list. Can't make them go away.

Top right of passport gets REAL hot with this build when browsing web. If you've been browsing the web for more than 5 minutes, do not answer the phone or your ear will burn.

It's like 2 steps forward and at least 1 back with BB. This is on a new autoloader install two days ago. Did autoloader, wipe, no restore, no android apps, two email accounts. I just can't deal with a contacts issue on a communication device.

Anyone else having an issue with not being able to set the timer? I noticed today that the little knob/button/control for setting the timer is missing. I reverted back to 2708 via Sachesi but to no avail. About to try an autoloader install of 2744 and see if it fixes the problem. There was another Crackberry thread that suggested a battery removal with the timer open ... but that didn't solve it for me. Thanks in advance!
