It could be, but why would this be the first time getting this message after all the other updates I've done?

I'm using the standard charger/usb box plug from my 9900. Always worked before. Now, after this update, I get the message with my BlackBerry charger, in the car, and sometimes on my work computer.

I think the only time it doesn't happen is with my wife's Samsung charger.

It could just be that BlackBerry has changed their recommended amperage for charging to a higher number, many companies are now :P

Can you read on the side or bottom of your charger what the mA or A value is? It should be 5V with some amperage.

Judging by a 9900 charger I believe mine was 500mA, which is the bare minimum a BlackBerry10 phone will charge with. They recommend 1.2A-2A I believe!

Odd, the mark as read option does appear on a long press of a Facebook notification on my z30.

Why are you using a charger from a 9900? I don't think it ouputs the volts and amps your phone needs but hey if it worked before.

It will continue to work, it will just take longer. The OS is now smart enough to notice.

Today and for no apparent reason, this option turned on and is functional!!! I think it has to do with the OS settling in....

Being one not to give up easily, I've reloaded this release on our devices... so far the issues I had reported earlier seem to have been resolved. Performed a security wipe and hard reset prior to running the autoloader.

Battery drain seems to be a little less compared to previous releases based on my set-up routine (which only drained about 6% on each device compared to 10-11% on previous installations). Not sure if this is just a fluke from performing a full battery cycle yesterday or if it's related to this particular build.

I had the blackberry link issue. The way I resolved it was by deleting link on my iPad mini and then reinstalled it. Still works well since.

    OMG, you're right!
I've had to stick with a version of Messenger from like November because anything newer would crash. It works again!

This is a win for me.

I'm on VZW but with a Z30. MMS seems fine but I don't use VVM.

If so, I get the same message from two different cables, and on three different chargers (one of them being a car charger)

    Hello,

After a week I have to say this is the best OS version for the Z10.
I can't find any real problem with the device.
I think BlackBerry has made a very good job with this version.
    Well done BlackBerry

    No notification problem
    No keyboard problem
    No notification volume problem
    No vibration call problem
Had some problems with Link but they are gone.
    Phone boots up very fast
All apps work fine. I don't use android apps
    No lagging at all
    Camera working good
Battery is OK for me. I'm not a powerful user 12-15 hours
    No temperature problem

No need to change my phone hahaha
I enjoy every second with it. Don't forget to enjoy your's

Overall my device is better in every aspect with the version

    Regards

It's not bad, 750mA is the bare minimum I'll charge my phone with if I can't find any other adapters.

If you've got/can spare $20, you can get a premium (meaning good quality, the branding doesn't really matter) 1.2A dual wall adapter or 2A wall adapter. I'd strongly recommend one of those.

While there's no real proof to back this, personally I feel my devices perform better when they're charged with the 1A-1.5A range. I feel the 2A+ range tends to burn out my battery quick when I use it, and the 750/500mA- range tends to be less accurate battery readings, and not last as long (but not get really warm when it burns out the same way using the high amperage chargers do).

I know this isn't fact, but it's seemed to have an impact on both me and my friends devices every time we've tested the results, so take it with a bit of a grain of salt.

Either way, recommend upgrading your wall adapter to something >1A at a minimum!

On your other post about the car charger:

Usually car chargers only output 500mA. It does depend on your charger, I've seen some that output 1.5-2A and they actually perform the same as charging via wall at the same, but I always see the 500mA-750mA car adapters not work as well.

I upgraded from 2708 and find myself locked out of my z30 sta-100-3 Verizon. Says my Blackberry ID is not correct and won't let me restore my backup. Help from anyone please? How do I revert back to 2708 or change the BB ID?
