I've been having some issues on my Z10 and needed to reset it back to factory settings. I got everything loaded back up and noticed it says 10.2.1.1055, which was the leaked OS. I did the reset on the device and no through BB Link.

Does this mean it automatically re-loaded the leaked OS? Before I loaded the leak it was 10.1.0.4780.

    Thanks

Factory reset doesn't get rid of a leak. It just brings it back to the state right after you loaded it. All settings gone, all apps gone.

If you want to restore it to an official OS you have to use BlackBerry Link.

There is a sticky at the top of this sub forum titled 'How to downgrade from leaked to official version'. Have you read it?

10.2.1.1055 has many bugs.... Since you've done a reset you should try 10.2.1.1925 first before downgrading. You might just like it.

Thanks, just needed to know that. I didn't want to downgrade, I was just wondering if it went back to the leaked or official OS. And will definitely update to the newer leak.
