it should end with Z. Partly because Z is the last letter of the alphabet, and partly because The Z10. Dont ya think?

Could we see the problem in the other way : would we be able to find a way to run unsigned apps looking at how this preview OS has been built ?

    Posted via CB10
^Darcy, see if this is feasible. You probably have the most experience here, maybe there is something that we can learn from these OS's running unsigned bar files

The OS is the same, it just skips the security check when launching the apps so they don't need to be signed.

But even if the potential exists to mess with the simulator (not sure what I'd do with it anyway) that knowledge isn't transferable to the phones since they're all secure.

It's impossible because to sign system bar files because you need BlackBerry private signing key, and that's likely never going to happen. If you have a few million years you might be lucky enough to brute force it and find the key that way.

Yea buddy...and a million years is a really looooong time. lol

As per usual, not much advantage. The browser bar is really just a user-interface. The menus, etc. The part which does the rendering of the webpage, fetching from the internet, and so on, that's all included in the OS itself (webkit) so upgrading the browser won't alter that.

There is a bug (the x button remains even if you have only one tab open. Therefore pressing it does nothing. And there is one more menu in the settings.

I've noticed that the simulator doesn't have watermarks... it's Because of the simulator? Or the OS itself is finally without watermarks?

Watermarks are only there for beta/leaked os's under 10.x.x.1xxx. So in this case, 10.3.0.1052 won't have watermarks because it's above 10.3.0.1xxx whereas 10.3.0.700 for example is below 10.3.0.1xxx

No. The SDK is currently under 10.3.1.1xxx so it'll have watermarks

I barely notice them tbh. But the 10.3 leak shouldn't have watermarks so you can try that
