I'm on an unlocked Z10 that is running on T-Mobile's US network. Since updating to 10.3.2.2876 a couple of days ago I'm receiving 4 to 6 copies of every text message sent to me. I don't know if others are getting my messages multiple times. Has anyone else experienced this on x.x.x.2876? Or is anyone else experiencing this on T-Mobile US? If it's a transient carrier issue I'll suck it up and wait for correction but if it's the result of upgrading to 2876 I want to figure it out and fix it. The worst part about the duplicate messages is that they don't come in all at once, they'll slowly 'drip' in over the next 30 minutes. While the dupes are coming in I don't get what's actually next in the inbound queue so the problem really impacts my ability to carry on a conversation via SMS.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks you!

On Tmobile here in US and having same issue since the update! Annoying and frustrating. It definitely tied to the WiFi calling which doesn't even give you option to turn on or off. Not even sure how or why its even in there. I recall having this problem in the earlier days of of BB10 with the wifi calling. Then its back! Not good but I guess nothing else is to be expected at this point anymore. Disappointing.

Since starting the thread I made two changes and so far <fingers crossed> no duplicate texts.

First, I installed the T-Mobile WifiCalling app using Sachesi and found that it would not connect via WiFi. Next I downgraded the radio .bar to version .2814. After a reboot the T-Mobile app connected without complaint and I haven't had any duplicate SMS messages show up.

I have a feeling the newer radio wasn't permitting acknowledgement when texts came in. In return the network would resend.

In case anyone else wants to try the same steps, I got the radio .bar from Thurask's post in LINK 1 [below] and the tip to use Sachesi for the WiFi Calling app at LINK 2 [below]. I'd post proper links but the forum prevent newbies from being helpful. I can see blocking external links but links to local content should permitted IMO. You'll have to copy and paste I guess. Good luck.

Happened to me as well with Latest OS and T-Mobile. Reverting to the previous radio as mentioned above has helped the issue.

Well, I was running the leaked version and everything worked fine, WiFi calling would connect, and I didn't get like 7 copies of texts. So the other day I wiped my phone and was going to Blitz back up to current, but I noticed that the update the phone was telling me was available was the same version, so I let it update that way. I think now that I see I am not the only person who has had the problem I will rewipe and Blitz instead of updating through TMO. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

I've had the new OS for a week or two now and started receiving duplicate texts yesterday. First it was totally laggy, then it was draining my battery, and now it is spamming me. Wtf with this upgrade?

Guess I have to install Sachesi and hope that I don't have El Capitan compatability issues.

I applied the old radio(.2816?) and it solved the duplicate text issue on my Z30.

It was getting so ridiculous for me. Up to seven copies of the same texts. I called to mobile yesterday and had text messaging blocked from my number. All the people I'm close with I use BBM anyways.

Q10fiend, it's not clear to me whether you tried downgrading the radio or not. Did you downgrade and find that the duplicate messages continued?

Glad I found this thread. I also started having repeated text messages after the latest update. It happened on my Z30 and also my Classic. Installed the previous radio file and now no repeated text messages (so far). Also, the T-Mobile WiFi calling works on the Classic.

I get duplicate texts from my ios friends every now and then, and that's been BB10-version independent. Never happened with texts from my Android friends. I always figured it was some ios anomaly.

I put in my Tmobile Sim card and get duplicate texts now. It's a bit random but happens enough to be annoying. I'm running latest OS by OTA.

While I'm also on T-Mobile I'm not sure that's the only variable that matters.

I'm run OS 2876 with Radio 2814. Every so often my phone will update the Radio to 2877, I think it has something to do with Link because it only happens whenever I do a full backup. Anyway, I digress.

Whenever the Radio is on 2877 I get duplicate TXT messages. After I downgrade the Radio to 2814 they stop.

    Maybe worth a try.

I've noticed that I get double texts when I'm connected via wifi. If I'm on the t-mobile network, it does not happen. Not sure why wifi would trigger receiving duplicates. Go figure.
