That happened to me when I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8,

However on your Z10 go to settings > BlackBerry Link ..
Scroll down you will see list of paired computers, delete the unusable one by holding it and pressing delete

Doesn't help, the orphans keep coming back, as they seem to be saved in the BlackBerry ID.
You only could delete them in Link, but the connection isn't there anymore, as it's an old connection.

Did you try to change your BBID? If you haven't, try changing the BBID password and then delete the orphan connections from Settings. What happened to me was that the orphans did come back after resets of the phone but after a few days, they did not re-appear and have not come back since I changed my password.

This didn't work for me. I even cfp wiped the phone. Mine keep coming back, even after changing the password.

How long has it been since you change the password? Took 2-3 days for me before it finally removed the orphans. Also, I don't believe these orphans are stored locally on the phone..this info in associated with the BBID (as you mentioned) and stored somewhere in the Blackberry cloud.

Sorry, that's annoying. I'll try to think of anything else that I might have done that would help..

Thanks for the concern. It isn't something that is a deal breaker, but it annoys the crap out of me.

I mean I just hate stuff in a list that has no function. Leftovers, you may call it OCD. I just call it keeping my things tidy.

Like I'm on 10.3.1.2072 now and the Advanced Interactions don't work on my phone, not even after Autoloader and stark from scratch. Yet all the sensors pass the function test. Drives me nuts.

I have read through the whole thread.

In my device connections, there are 2 pair computers with different names.
In file manager, there are 4 names with 2 duplicates.

I tried reset password and waited, nothing happen. I did not wipe/clean the phone, it would be a hassle to re-setup the phone again.
    Still waiting for solutions

    Secure wipe doesn't solve it.
Tried at least 3 times over the last 6 weeks or so.
The orphaned PCs are linked to the BlackBerry ID.

It usually works in cases like the previous posters, where during the upgrade something went kinda wrong and the new entry has the same name, but "-1" added to it. It worked to remove it in my case.
However I have three entries from failed tries to establish a Remote Access connection when I got the device back in the day, and THOSE are non removable, because they seem to be burned into the BlackBerry servers tied to your ID.

This has always driven me absolutely mad and the only way I managed to get rid of it was to run an autoloader and start from scratch. I won't resort to that again just because BlackBerry is unable to keep their fkn code tidy.

Yes, it should come back automatically as soon as you sign in to your BlackBerry ID after the phone is done wiping, rebooted and prompts you to sign in. It will be like a phone out of the box.

So i should do a full backup follows by a clean wipe and restore the backup. Everything will be in order?

Pretty much, yes. You might have to set up your email accounts again.

Thanks man! I will decide again.

Everything is good except the annoying part is the duplicate names.
Not unsure if its worth it to reset everything.
