I have 10.2.1.1055 installed and working pretty smooth.
I was browsing through the folders and under the folder misc/android I have certain folders repeated 4 times ! The content seems to be identical despite showing 0 items in some of them. How can I fix this ?
    See attached

I'm not the expert on the android runtime, but from what I have read in the forums, its meant to be like that and is an emulation of the files. It must be left as is and not be tampered with, else you will experience issues with the installed apps.

Not only installed apps, but if someone DELETES the files in those "duplicate" location, they will in fact DELETE THE ORIGINAL files, like photos, music, videos, docs, etc.

I noticed that too. And if you delete them it deletes the actual file.

It is not "truly" duplicating the pic, video, but rather it is pointing to it. Any android app that invokes those privileges will create a folder within Misc

    Hey all,
Longtime reader, first time poster. First off, just wanted to say sorry for bumping such an old thread but...

I have the same issue on my Q10. I was running an earlier build before and I didn't have all these duplicates. I just upgraded to 10.2.1.1925 and noticed the doubles.

I did restore from a backup I had made and everything is working fine. Just wondering if it was the backup being restored on it that caused the duplicates to appear, or if it is something to do with the new build.

To clarify, I have two of "Music", two of "music" etc... Just as palosanto indicated in the screenshots. Thanks for your help!
