Unstable but that's okay. What a real spoiler is for me that you can't take a picture without touching the virtual button. I miss just the way you can touch everywhere on the screen.

Maybe just maybe they would add that option back in OS 10.3.1 "maybe"

I also don't like it. I don't know how many precious moments I have missed because I either forgot about the button and tapped the screen or missed the button. Maybe giving us the choice in an option like a "tap anywhere to photograph" or something.

Yeah before I used to hate the tap anywhere because of accidental shots. But I miss it now because it's easier when taking a shot at an awkward angle.

I just use the volume button. Much easier then trying to hit the virtual button.

Just another step taken by BlackBerry to dumb down the OS because of focus groups, and an attempt to get iOS and Android users who jump ship the smallest learning curve possible.
Doubt you'll see any reverting back in 10.3.1 but here's hoping I'm wrong

With old "shot via tap anywhere" is impossible do focus in select region .. i miss this feature. Now .. anywhere tap make focus in this region and then i make shot via icon or buttons. This is right and as standard on many smartphones ..

I think this topic could be a vote. Probably nothing would change, but we have voted many times before for things like this, to see the big picture of what BlackBerry users want or think. Personally I liked the "tap anywhere" most.
In any case, if they manage to put this feature as an option that you could choose or not in the device, would be awesome for both sides.

With tap anywhere you had to drag the focus to where you wanted. The feature was there the whole time. The "new" way is more like iPhone or Android.

Nah, tap anywhere was not good. The new way is much better, regardless of how "android/iphone alike" it is. Is it really that hard for you to push a button?

Can you say something about making a video without the auto-refocus setting turned on?
Would be nice to hear what changes there are in comparison to 10.2 as in this version filming is very annoying due to the constant refocussing.

One is "drag focus region to another place via move" and second is "set focus region here and FOCUS NOW via tap" .. I am for second solution .. it is more ergonomic .. and i am able make quick refocus via tap. Where is "quick refocus forced by me" in 10.2.x ??

I like more how my phone is right now. Every time Android & iPhone users tell me "ummmm? How do I take the picture??" I love it when I say

    touch "anywhere"

They do it and they are like wow... I like this

John Chen listen to your followers at Crackberry.

Put back the "Take photo while tapping anywhere on the screen" option or there will be riots....
Defiantly do not like taking photos while having to take a small button (Do not now make the button bigger)

    PLEASE!

I love the 10.3 way. So much easier to use the focus and more logical button placement for camera switch and recording videos.

I've taken a lot of accidental shots with tap anywhere, but well worth it to me. I prefer it over the 10.3 camera
