    Is anyone else having the issue of t-mobile not allowing you to Web browse when in desktop mode? It takes me to a page saying I need to get a mobile hot spot plan.

    Anyone know of a fix?

    That's very strange. I think that's a question for T-Mobile customer care. Maybe there's something on your account that's preventing this.

    It's due to the browser string and your account -- you don't have tethering on your data plan.

    I have the same issue, I just use the mobile version of websites until a fix is found.

    There is no "fix" per-se; T-Mobile is doing deep packet inspection.

    Well, actually there is one fix -- set up a VPN and connect to it. Then they can't inspect jack since it's encrypted.
