What's the problem? All I see is that 10.2.1 now allows you to tell the OS where you want a new contact saved...

Do you happen to have a workaround for my problem?
I cannot get the option to create the contact on BB link.
I get only local and SIM.

    Thank you

The exact problem is : in this OS we get three Options to save a New contact Ie SIM, Outlook.com, Local

None of these three gets Synchronised with my MS Outlook on Laptop.

So the issue is : How to synchronise contacts???

So your problem is the same as mine.
I am still waiting for an answer.
For us both, BlackBerry Link = ms outlook.

The latest Link software has the options for syncing contacts, either only to ms outlook, only to Blackberry or BOTH ways. Check it out!

    You must be joking....
What makes you think we do not know that.
The problem is that with IS 10.2.1.1055. When you create a contact it does not get created to Outlook as well.
And it also does not give you the option to do it manually as well.

Only if you create it seperately on your PC.

I believe that it is a bug of the OS. We will have to wait for a fix in one of the next OSs.
Fir the time bring if you create the contact on your PC it will sync just fine.
But you cannot create the contact on the phone and have it synced in outlook on your PC.

The "BB Link" account is created on your BB10 device when you configure Link to Sync with it, and perform that operation. The BB Link account can include Calendar, Contacts, etc. This you obviously know. So, I would try removing BB Link from Accounts on your device, then removing and re-creating those settings within Link to see if the BB Link account gets set up properly this time.

A couple of additional notes -
    - The title of the thread is misleading, as your problem is NOT with Outlook.com account, but rather your BB Link account.
    - Perform a full backup before proceeding with any recommended remedy - including mine.
    - Sync with BB Link account DOES work on 10.2.1.1055, as I have personally used it. Your configuration got corrupted somewhere - I'm guessing you performed a restore from backup after installing the leak. That is the most common cause of this type of odd behaviour.
    - Expecting assistance from BB on a problem relating to a leaked, unofficial OS is real wishful thinking.
