Seems an issue with bedside mode when I close it in the morning after sliding it up and then open phone the clock app opens but it is not a full app as if you pull the menu down you do not get options that you get when close it and open clock.

In earlier versions closing bedside mode you did not have the clock show up again and have to close it.

I seem to have that issue only when I activated the porche design clock on 1055. Prior to that bedside mode was working as usual.

Mine has done that since day one of this leak. Minor, but annoying. Also, when I minimize bedside mode & then return to it, I'm in clock, not bedside.

Yep, I have it too. Mine worked normal for the first few days, then it started doing this.
It's not a big deal, but it is annoying.
Then again.... it is a leak.

I guess it's because we are going into bedside mode from the quick menu?

I haven't tried the previous method of pulling down the shade from the lock screen, and leaving it on that way overnight.

It is a bit of a pain to swipe up three times.

Yes I use the pull down method to get to it so same deal. I know it's a leak but it is my opinion that they leak them as a grand beta project. Very often a leak turns into official. Anyway it is annoying and post in hopes the official will not do it. Not very professional flicking and swiping to get into your phone.

I pull down the shade. So unfortunately that's not the fix.

What I hate is when I close the bedside mode, the alarm will still sound if I have it in snooze.

Yep. You're right. I did the shade pull-down last night and still had to go through three swipes (and then close the clock active frame after that, so, four steps in all) this morning.

This is with the stock clock.

Since BB is internally in the 18xx+ build range for 10.2.1, hopefully this has been fixed by now.

I have never played with the stock clock, and it happens to me. So it isn't exclusive to those who turned in the Porche clock. A

Isn't this as designed? Bedside mode has nothing to do with the alarm function. They are separate. It was the same way on legacy BB's
