I am not sure if Clean Master has come to BlackBerry. But that is an Android ****. Shifty devices needs to clean memory to run well. Not the case in the BlackBerry device.

Unfortunately, BB10 has memory problems with browser and phone app. My browser can get to 400 mb ram and even after closing all tabs it keeps that RAM allocated. Phone app can get up to 240mb. I often get memory low warning.

Although I wish you are right, and although it is better than Android, it has problems.

There are certain versions that come with the memory issue. If you close the app for long enough, it will still release your memory, but not as soon as you close it. My BBM usually runs at 150mb ram,but if I close it for about ten minutes, it will come down to around 50mb.

I start with over 1g of RAM (48%)

I never run out of RAM because I keep my phone clean by deleting files, clearing the cache and shutting down once a day.

There was a discussion about the Web view not releasing the memory properly on Native Dev Forums, they probably know about it but can't be bothered to sort it

I haven't bothered about ram on note 3 or passport. Never had problems with z10 running original os either tbh.

Android with 1gb ram I've seen problems

I am giving you 10 points for cruel laying right there.

Q10 boots with 1gb available. Unless you don't open any apps, including phone app, you have a unique device.

Open WOOT.com and the browser uses 150mb of ram.

Not to mention if you have some services like facebook, Skype, Amazon app store... that run in the background no matter what.

I think the number refers to storage, not ram. If you can clean 800-1000mb ram, your device is running on almost 0 ram.

Yes save that in storage not RAM if you look at the picture I show 1g ram total being used. I generally am able to keep it less than 50%

This link can better explain the why's an how's

In general they are there for different languages. Not all IMF and nuance files can be deleted.

This is a dated link but will help you understand how easy and why it works.

Since I have no idea what the coding assignment for the files.

I removed the files in groups. Test your phone after each group removal.

    Edit 05/22
After removing a group test the following before deleting the next group.

    Assistant
    Email
    Text messaging
    Colander

If you have a problem add half the group back in and so on and so on

I was told not to delete the Spanish files. Never tested without these files.

Here we are 239 years later and Spanish is equal to English. I hope our fore father's didn't roll over.

I don't use them that is why I eliminated them.

If you are happy with the build. Leave it alone

Edit 5/22 The above statement was in reference to the different languages.
