My carrier never had a wallpaper and splash screen on all previous OS's before 10.2.1.3175. I really like them and would like to use them on every OS going forward. I know there is a way of extracting them from the OS files, but i have looked and couldn't find them.

So, could anyone get them for me or point me to the right direction? Thurask or anyone?

Dump the OS files with DBBTool (Extract User File System (Apps)), then look for .seed\bars\sys.data.ecid###.branding.(opt.)bar.

To map which carrier is which ID, in the same OS dump, go to \apps\sys.data.carrier_data.gYABgFiOnv5T7QQvS74H_q L5stg\assets\data and extract fs3.rcfs with DBBTool. Inside that is a .xml file, then just search for the carrier you want and find the ID.

I have found the ID. Thanks.

I just realized that 'sys.data.ecid###.branding.opt.bar' contains the Wallpaper, while 'sys.data.ecid###.branding.bar' contains the Splash screen.

I used the DBBTool to delete the sys.data.ecid###.branding.(opt.)bar files from the installed app and it works: no carrier's splash screen.

    Thanks for the instructions...

But, on the "File Extraction" side, all the buttons are disabled / grayed out. Am I missing something?
