I don't think you can. It's embedded in the sim. My passport runs att splash when att sim is in. I put my other verizon sim card in and it picks up the verizon splash screen.

Out of curiousity, how does the Passport "work" on the Verizon network? Did you try this just to see what splash screen would show up or do you use your Passport on Verizon?

Just firing into the forest here, but I believe it's just a generic set of carriers that exist within the phone's internals that they've collected and it just picks based off the SIM?

Even if it's not able to work on the network, like Verizon, it could still boot with its logo?

As Darcy mentioned, it's not embedded in the SIM but rather the device keys off the SIM and shows what it thinks is the appropriate splash screen.

It worked fine just like my unlocked verizon white Q10 worked fine with the ATT sim card. The only thing is that if u need to test it then u need to get a verizon nano sim or cut your and use an adapter for the phone it originally came out of.

Ummm no. I was correcting a statement you made, referencing/acknowledging the person in the thread who is smarter than myself who had already covered the topic, nothing more. Don't be so sensitive.

Yeah, just that little of personalised customisation would be very nice.....

Agreed. I'd love to never see the carrier logo again, and having your custom logo instead would be just great.

No worries. It's hard to interpret meaning/intent over text when there is no body language or tone of voice to go off of. :-)

My interest in this is a small amount of bloody- mindedness, I have the carriers splash screen as wallpaper because they don't offer the PP as a consumer phone; or at least they did not when I got mine
