Got it. I personally haven't had any problems with the latest official OS.

My point was simply that asking for a leak which may not be any better and unstable isn't really a better option.

Thanks BigBadWolf. I probably should have stated that in the first place.

    Cheers

    No problem!

Like you and most of us, no major problems on 2339 either, but I would take a leak.

2239 on Passport is horrible. Takes atleast 3 swipes to wake up the device and a good 2sec delay when pressing lock button. Not to mention the slow as molasses camera focus.
I guess you probably mean 2339 and maybe on your Passport it is horrible--on my Passport it is absolutely fantastic--I have none of your problems.

Yes. 2339 has been almost more than one & half month, desperately waiting for leak but at the same time google services are equally important and crucial. If Chen is delaying new leak for google services as reported Slider will have, I can wait.

2339 and my Passport are made for each other . It gels with the device extremely well . if have no issues related to radio signals , PKB typing experience is best as ever no lagging . Battery life is very normal . for me due to heavy usage it lasts for about 16 hours .

Just load it again with an autoloader and factory restore it before you load any apps or start using the device. 2339 is the best OS bruh...

    Blackberry Passport 10.3.2.2339
    two problems with that:

I dont remember all my account passwords
I dont have a 'windoze' machine

    also:

if my phone were updated instead by my carrier, which I believe is also at 2339, and I were not a sachesi person (or even a crackberrian!), how would my very expensive blackberry passport be peforming for me?

No better. All non-destructive methods are created equal.

Autoloader, or continue to have issues. It's your choice. There's no other way to clean the dirt out from under the nails.

2339 has been nothing but awesome on my Q10. Never really had an issue with any of the 10.3.x builds, maybe not-so-great battery once or twice but I had that on my last official OS from Sprint too.

Im having serious issues on 2339. Sys.android crashes constantly, and battery life is horrible. Im lucky to get 6 hours before im looking desperately for a charger. But then there are some days I will get 15 hours and still be at 35% with really no change in usage. Days when battery life is bad my phone is getting hot hot hot!

I did upgrade via sachie though

That has a lot to do with incomplete Android installs. I experienced just that while installing apps from the Amazon App Store. I decided to disable notifications on my Amazon App Store app and install everything from the Amazon app (the new one). It's much better.

Hmm interesting about Amazon. Last time I upgraded via autoloader (many OS ago, one of the 10.3.1's) I didn't install it at all, just tossed the icon in a folder and got my Android apps via Snap. No issues with Android runtime.

Conite, I mentioned earlier that with the SE PP I got a couple days ago from ShopBB, when I connected it to Link in Windows it updated the OS after DLing something or other. As I said, it had software release 10.3.2.2226 and OS 10.3.2.2339/2340 before and after the link update. I have no idea what that was all about. I did restore from my OG PP--everything, and it was easy.

I've had one spontaneous reboot and one or two episodes of a flickering or jiggling screen when viewing a new SMS text, similar to what we were seeing with the PP and 10.1, as I recall. I rebooted, and so far no repeats of either.

Overall, the SE and its case are pretty impressive.

Without me creating a new thread I just installed 859 radio over PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2339

Now I'm getting an issue when I play any song before it starts pop up saying song can't be played over nfc.. I go into nfc settings and it's like it's stuck to on I can't turn it off... but it doesn't show on the main screen as being on next to battery? Any ideas what I've done wrong?

    PassportSQW100-4/10.3.2.2339
Right. That was exactly what I needed to run one of my programs--a non working NFC, which I was able to get on my OG Passport. No, just turning off NFC in 2339 doesn't get around it with this particular program.

I found that you can't run the SE SQW 100-4 with 859. Loading 859 nondestructively or with an autoloader simply soft bricks the PP SE.

The only bug I have is when I open my calendars the colors have changed to baseline.i use outlook which has 2 calendars mine I use blue and my husbands calendar is green.i set these colors . Birthdays are pink and holidays purple.then I close out . Next time I open calendar the colors are not what I set .but this is miner.

It's an amazing OS right now

With amazing typing lags on the passport on different websites.

The encryption destroys my whole memorycard after I tried to copied one file via USB to the phone and all of my Holiday pictures are gone. :

Yeah.... I really need a new OS update for my phone...
