    Hello there comrades!

I am in need of advice. I am currently still using my lovely STA-100-5 Z30.
    Currently updated to 10.3.2.2204
Everything is outstanding and work beautifully except the darned GPS navigation.
My issue is apps like Google Maps, Waze and BB Maps seem to know my location within a 500 meter radius but once i begin navigation all is lost and I'm forced to read directions instead of just listening to voice commands.
Needless to say this is not only illegal but very dangerous, AND extremely annoying; considering the fact I travel quite often to clients homes.
I used to have absolutely no issues before back in 10.2.1.xxx and 10.3.1.1154.
Issues started with later 10.3.1/2xxx builds and now it fails to locate me every single time on every app.

So where do I go from here? From quite some reading I suspect the issue to be the radio installed on my device.(10.3.2.2205)
It is either that or a straight hardware problem.
So considering the amount of people that have reported issues with later 10.3.2 builds.
Is it possible the radio on the hybrid/leak or official OS to be the culprit of all these GPS issues?
Is it possible to flash an earlier OS10.2.1/10.3.1 radio on a 10.3.2 build?
Has anyone successfully attempted this? Is it even possible
And finally if you are on ATT, or Tmobile and have no issues whatsoever with your GPS navigation.
Would you tell us what OS and radio version are you running?

    Thanks!

BlackBerry maps is not GPS, don't know about the others, there are a few true GPS maps such as mireo don't panic, which is what I use, bbmaps uses data

Geez man, of course BB Maps uses GPS (together with data).

OP, it sounds like you probably have a hardware problem since this goes back to OS versions prior to 10.3.2. I get a GPS fix within 5 seconds on 10.3.2.2204 (using GPS Status app).

I am currently using my precious Z30STA100-2 with 10.3.2.798 leak.

When I was using the 10.3.1 leaks I had an issue with the GPS accuracy, too. It took a lot of time to find the satellites and the accuracy was sh,it. I mean, I was shown near the road on the map every single time.

That was one time I did a blitz update. Fixed it with an Autoloader clean install. Now it works like a charm. It takes about 5 seconds to connect in the cities.

Where is the GPS chip located? Is it on the screen by any chance?
I don't know if it was the screen I just replaced but GPS is seemingly working now.

It could also be I just messed up with radios so much.
I installed 10.3.1.1154 radio extracted from an autoloader with Sachesi, that I found on my computer.
That somewhat fixed it a bit but I was still having issues.
Yep you heard correctly 10.3.1 radio on 10.3.2

Then I installed some 10.2.1.xxx and that broke the radio completely lol.
So I went back and flashed .1154 right back but that still didn't helped...
It kept spitting an "Unknown Error" message on the mobile network screen. It was also telling me something about "Invalid Sim."
So I ended up flashing the full 10.3.2.2134 back again and so far the latest Google Maps has been working flawlessly.
Will see if this keeps on.

I'd like to know where it is located. I wouldn't think it would be a part of the LCD, but either attached to the motherboard or housing. Possibly since I replaced my middle frame housing, I have not been able to get my location using GPS

The chances that the GPS is located on the screen are very low. The motherboard hosts it on most of the devices (if not all).

You might just reset it if you disconnected the battery.

    Very possible.
Can't seem to find anything on GPS location...
Something is for sure I didn't disconnected the battery...
I did let it die for about 24 hours....so maybe that did it.
    I have no clue.
