Hah ya'll are behind. Paint thinner takes forever. Screwdriver method is the best. It does a little extra cosmetic work but it's quick and painless*!

Reload your software using BSAK (search for the thread) and then use kill process option to wipe the #'s off the screen. Lol

Have anyone mentioned the Standby button at the top? Works wonders. Numbers disappear when you press it.

    Also the flip over option.

Just repeat these words "numbers be gone" and if that doesn't work reload 10.2.1.

There is a new technology called transparent liquid paper, I would try that first. If that doesn't work there is a trick that I read somewhere where they say you need to remove the battery, as soon as you remove the battery those number will disappear, the only thing with this is that you can't put the battery in anymore.

Is that the same as pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds!

Yes, you can also wipe those number by dropping the phone in a hot bath.

Joking aside, OP I hope you don't mind us joking on this, but the truth you need the last official os 10.2.1, pin are shown in every 'beta' os which is usually bellow version 1000, 10.3 is still consider beta or testing.

Some petrol and a flamethrower would work 😆 (caution-your bb will be rendered unusable but the numbers will be gone &#128077

Seriously though, as suggested go back to an official version of 10.2.1 - easiest way is connect your bb to link on the PC and reload software option

I tried scratching and all that, but I found that when I put it in the toaster first, microwave second, then oven on broil at 450? the numbers came off easier when I put it in the cement mixer.

    True story!

I tried that after I put 10.3 on my old Torch but it didn't work. Neither did Ajax, Arm n Hammer, Chlorox, butane lighter, arc welder... it left me very frustrated.

An acid bath was the final step, but then the Z10 was released... now I have other issues with third degree burns on parts of my body.

Try turning it over, face down and shaking it until everything on your screen disappears. If it comes back, repeat the process.
