The best way to downgrade is Autoloader, you need BB ID to go through set up as a new phone.Benefits from downgrade may very, depends on device and apps You use.I tried to stay on 2339 using different way of update and my Q10 was not happy with it,but 2252 gave me better filling and battery life, not heavy user though.

    Q10 10.3.2.2252(Wind,Canada) and love it

My opinion is that we're so overdue for a leak now that downgrading is a waste of time because as soon as you finish the device setup the new leak will be released. It is like this every time. Just stay on 2339.

Who said abt jumping frm a builiding?
Different OS serves different people good. 2339 in my z30 is havng problems than 2252. At the same time, my Q10 works better in 2339.

If you think you want to take such a chance, at least EDUCATE yourself by reading the MANY MANY threads on this subject before giving away DANGEROUS advice like that!

And, exactly what hardware would you change, and - more importantly - how?

It's not like a BlackBerry is made like a RadioShack do-it-yourself electronic kit that you can go into with a soldering iron and just swap out parts willy-nilly. Might as well just toss it on the BBQ grille because you'd end up with the same result.

As we were discussing downgrading from 10.3.2 to 10.2.X, you advised that "he shouldn't listen to anybody, and that he can obviously downgrade, and that he should experience it".

Whether or not you meant to say that in your head, that's what you actually wrote.

And yes, that can soft brick a phone.

Maybe u all dint understand his question or I dint understand?
He asked from 10.3.2.2339 to 10.3.2.2252 right?
And doing that will never brick the phone...atleast could do autoloader again and things will be good..

And what I said abt nt to listen to anybody is, their problems with their phones...nt that he should not read Or listen to somebody instructions of loading an OS

Not fix, I had tried myself.

    I mention again:
I had tried, did autoloader 10.3.2.680, did autoloader 10.3.2.798, did autoloader 10.3.2.840, did Sachesi v1.9 to OS 10.3.2.858 (all autoloader delete my data and apps, and I didn't do any restore). I had done autoloader 10.3.2.2339 too. Several days ago I did autoloader OS 10.3.2.798 and I did Sachesi to load debrick OS 10.2.2 (2 GB more) to my device after finished success installing OS 10.3.2.798 and it made my device hang when would like to unlock phone lock screen, I did wipe security, the hang was still presist, finally I did again autoloader OS 10.3.2.798, the hang was fix. But again, the phone app dialer not fix. If you restart your device, the phone app lag (delayed dial) will refresh again for temporary, in one day or two days, the problem will come back. I had said this many times and posted many times, to make sure, suggest clean install autoloader OS 10.3.2.2339 or other OS 10.3.2 or do wipe security, won't fix the phone app lag (lag dial pad) problem.

If one a day there is a way to solve the problem, I will post my phone app lag device problem is fixed.

If any hardware change can be done so that I can go back to any OS?

And btw, to OP....u can obviously go...and I would say u shouldnt listen to anybody, bt only try it and experience it urself, coz results obviously differs from person to person and model to model...

Bt for best results, do fresh autoloader install with no restore.

Once you load / install OS 10.3.2.2339, you can't do autoloader OS 10.3.1 and below OS 10.3 (you will stuck forever in OS 10.3.2), I had tried myself more than twice.

    That's too bad.

I've never had that on any of my devices (Z10, Z30, Q5, Passport).

Maybe a certain batch of devices are prone to the problem, which might explain why some people have it (and most don't) regardless of OS and install method.

You're luckly don't experience this. I read many threads too, users who experienced that problem were much. What my false was, I did upgrade to OS 10.3.2.798 first time without wait and the comments, so I couldn't go back now.
