Anyone else having issues adding browser shortcuts to the home screen after upgrading to 10.3.3?

After upgrading, new shortcut icons don't appear on my home screen anymore after adding them.

Possibly an install issue, or your particular version. I'm on Z30STA100-3/10.3.3.2049. You can try a Blitz install of whichever of the two official 10.3.3 OS are available, to fix your problem, unless...
It's really there, and you missed it on whatever screen it landed on.

Got it fixed thanks to @blackberryhelp

    1. Do a full backup

    2. Using Link select Reload Device Software (if Reload doesn't appear on the main screen it can be found under Preferences).
    * add to home screen works at this point *

    3. Restore backup made in step 1
    * now add to home screen doesn't work *

    4. Reboot device by holding down power button for 10 secs. Apparently holding the power button down for this length of time causes a complete restart.
    * add to home screen works again *

Well... I thought it was solved. The same problem returned a few days ago. argghh..

This time though I contacted my service provider (ask suggested by @blackberryhelp), they created an incident number and patched through to BlackBerry Tech Support.

After working through several ideas with BB Tech Support we eventually found the source of the problem.

During the process I was asked to submit device logs for the engineers to have a look and Anthony (BB tech support) said he would call me back when they had a solution or further questions. Much to my surprise Anthony called back with an hour with some ideas and something else to try.

It turns out I had too many bookmarks saved to the home screen. Bookmarks that are saved in folders are also counted. I had about 120 or so bookmarks saved, so I'm guessing the limit is probably 127.

BlackBerry's tech support guy was great. He was knowledgeable, had good ideas and I didn't feel rushed at all.

He said he would pass this along to the group that works on improvements for the next release. I suggested that if the limit couldn't raised then showing a warning about nearing the max number of bookmarks would be handy.

My next task is to do some house keeping and clean out some of those old no longer needed bookmarks.

Yup. I was surprised as well. They kind of add up when they're hidden in folders and stuff.

Almost tempted to fire up my Z30, and see how close to the limit it is.

I hadn't thought of it that way. It looks like there will either another update to the 10.3.3 series or 10.3.4 will arrive eventually.

No, I'm not having that problem. I did the OTA update.

Imagine his disappointment, when he sent out the internal email, and it bounced back.

    I kid, I kid!
