    Hi,
I'm running STL003 10.2.1047 and new unlocked Android runtime.

I used an app called Ghost Commander (port) and was an idi0t and went off disabling some of the apps contained in the Android runtime I knew nothing about. Needless to say now all my ports and sideloads don't work and the runtime crashes each time I load one.
I've tried to flash the runtime with the new unlocked version, the. 810, the .1047, hard reset and the runtime still crashes.

I'm not sure where these changes were stored or how to reverse them. I deleted Ghost Commander and no luck.

I would do a wipe but I don't have a current backup. I'm concerned about making a backup now since I don't know where this error is stored. I'm hoping there is an easy fix.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

The wipe might help. Poke into the Unlocked Runtime thread. The very least do a stock software reload from Link. And see if that helps.. Sec Wipe is best bet.

Security wipe will be your friend. If you don't know what your doing in the android system don't touch it. Just because the setting IS there, does not mean it'll work as intended on a true droid device

edit: backup will take your corrupt runtime, so can't use that

Thanks. I didn't want to hear that! Is there any way I can salvage my data? Contacts, calendar entries?

Link has a selective backup. How about if I just backup settings or media only, or application data?

Settings and media is good. App data will be corrupted.

Great! That's good news. I'm going to do this now.

Update: backed up settings and media, security wipe, restore, download apps and sideloads. Everything works. Thanks again everyone.

I figured a way to fix this without wiping your phone
Posted the tutorial in a new thread, so it's easier to find for other folks that run into the same issue:
