Can anyone that had Bluetooth issues with 1055 and upgraded to 1259 confirm that it fixed the bluetooth issues? I haven't seen anything in the main thread - would be greatly appreciated! On a Q10 preferably.

(please don't comment you never had BT issues, many of us do)

I looked through 15 pages and didn't see it added. Thanks - a simple yes would have been easier.

Still would like to know if any Q10 users have downloaded and tested and can confirm. Thanks,

Is there any way to get the bluetooth fix without having to reinstall the entire OS w/.1259?

I didn't expect to have the scratchy bluetooth streaming issues w/this release, but looks like I wasn't so lucky. It was crystal clear w/my 10.2.0.1809 install, though.

    Anyone have any pointers/tips/etc?

With 1055 I had the problem that the automatic Bluetooth connection did not work with my car (mercedes R350). I was able to establish a new connection, but every time I had left the car and returned back, connection failed. The only solution was to delete the car profile in the device and also the device profile in the car and setup completely new.
This issue is still the same in 1259. So I will rollback to the official OS. I work with Z10 STL-2

Still the same here with slight improvement--Loaded the newest leak yesterday.
Paired w/ my MB GLK, and it worked. Then turned car off and got out-back in car in 5 mins, turned car on and it didn't show again. I clicked on the search and it found and connected it -so that is an plus-however it should have found it (phone/car) automatically. Will do some re-boots and try again today. Maybe some setting I don't have set correctly-LOL-I'll report back with updates for those of us that have this issue, and I urge others to do the same. Thanks!

Update! I can confirm that. 1259 fixes bluetooth connectivity issue completely! At first attempt as I noted in previous post on this thread, it require a manual search but connected. After a re-boot, it now connects automatically once again. All is good!

Once paired it will not reconnect with my Mercedes ML350. It does work fine with a headset though.

    ** UPDATE **

I managed to get rid of the bluetooth choppiness during playback by loading the media player BAR file from 10.2.0.1809.

It's been smooth streaming since then, with ZERO scratching or cutting-out when using the BlackBerry Stereo Gateway or my Motorola S305 bluetooth headset.

I'll take a look and see where I can post it, tonight. I'll reply to this thread with the URL once the file has been staged and is ready to go.

OK -- The file has been staged, and you should be able to download it, here:

    sys.mediaplayer-10.2.0.53.bar

This is my first attempt at using a service like Mega-Upload, so if it doesn't work, let me know and I'll see if there is some other way to make the file available to you.

You'll have to wait about 10 seconds (roughly) before the 'Download Now' button is displayed. Here is what you'll need to look for:

Bluetooth issues with 10.2.1.1055 get fixed in 10.2.1.1259?-20131228-image_1.png

I hope it works as well for you as it did for me. Again, this file is from 10.2.0.1809.

I am having the exact same problem connecting to my Mercedes Sprinter (after 10.2.1 update)
My service provider (Bell) wants me to send my Q10 in for repair. I think this is an inconvenience since this is a OS issue and not a hardware issue.
