Was tinkering around with ghost commander and getting into the Android settings in 10.2.1.1055 and noticed that we now can utilize bluetooth in the android runtime. Has this been there for awhile? Only cause I know the earlier runtimes in the 10.2 era could not turn bluetooth on.

Sorry if this is old news

If it's news, that could mean FitBit and other tracker compatibility, no?

Maybe... I'm able to use an app "spare phone" with my blue tooth car setup, the app which uses Google voice as a voip and it's an android port!

Very cool. Just curious when this happened

This would be HUGE NEWS!! If true, Endomondo and other fitness apps would be fully functional with HRM Support.
    Subscribed because no 10.2.1 Radio.

Awesome! I saw the bad file, but haven't tested it. Waiting for my version to leak.

That's big news for me, have needed the functionality for a while.

Bluetooth has been working for a while on Q10SQN100-1/10.2.0.1803 for Pandora 4.2 but not for Skype 4.2 so, you may may have to test and report back.
I can't find a good review on the new leak, too much junk posts and complaints...

Amir- you misunderstand. A working app that outputs sound does not use the Blue tooth API. The OS outputs that sound to a blue tooth device. This is very different from an android app using a BB10 API to connect to a BT keyboard or Heart Rate Monitor. Or as it appears BB10 recognizing and utilizing an android BT service.

So sounds like this is possibly a new feature, has anyone tested it out with any fitness apps. I have been able to pair with my handsfree car system

Can't comment on how well the app works but there definitely connectivity to my bluetooth OBD. I forgot what version I have installed, I had issues with the newest version in the play store. This is an apk I backed up with titanium a while back (paid for it).

I was planning to get a Wifi obd adapter so I can use torque (from bb world) but I'd rather be able to use blue tooth. Might just have to wit for 10.2.1 now :-)

This latest leak is very very interesting!

Hoping blue tooth low energy is exposed to the android runtime now and not just standard blue tooth for connectivity. Thats the determining factor when it comes to advanced accessories like wallet trckr, kevo smart locks, and fit bit.

So there will be no BT LE in the Android runtime - - any time soon. Not planned in 10.2 or 10.2.1. As for regular BT - I have not seen any sign of it in newest leak. Paired my BT HRM (Not 4.0 low energy) and then started up endomondo. No luck in either the BBWorld store version or downloading directly from Amazon or Good E-reader. HRM was not read in either.

    Sorry to give bad news.

1imagine try running ghost commander and get into the android settings screen. Try pairing your BT from there and see what happens

The Bluetooth functionality really works fine. I downloaded the official Pebble app from the Google Play Store and it was able to connect to my Pebble. It was also able to do the firmware update via the bluetooth as well as installing some apps on to the watch using the Android version.

So all in all, it does work.

I have torque connecting to my BT obd on the new leak. I didn't pair via android, just paired through BB10 and android runtime was able to see it.

My BlueTooth HRM still isn't working within both the App World *.bar of Endomondo as well as the latest *.apk from Endomondo.

Bluetooth works in so far as android apps can use some BT services but not fully I think. Evidence - the pebble app works fine connecting to my pebble watch, but spotify will not respond to bluetooth device media controls when paired to my fm BT transmitter in my car.

I have a dedicated OBD2 scanner but would love to have something that works over Bluetooth.

Which Bluetooth OBD2 device do you have and what is the approximate cost?

I wonder if the Torque app in BBW already has the BT support built-in so it will just work with 10.2.1, or if they will have to issue some update? Currently they are still showing no BT support. (No particular surprise, 10.2.1 isn't officially released anywhere yet)
