I did the security wipe and used the .1881 radio. So far, I'm getting 12-14 hours with light-medium usage. I'll run this configuration another day and then try the .1721 radio again.

I'm determined to quash this battery drain issue but it does look like I'm getting somewhere. Goal is 12-14 hours with medium-heavy usage.

A lot of people have been posting up good results with the 1880 radio. It really is a trial and error type attempt however as it seems all devices act differently on what's loaded

    Posted via CB10
It might help if people could state OS/radio/and Z10 model they have with each post.

Thanks Kris for the hard work!!

    Thanks so much.

I just found a program called "Signal" in BBW. It's free and displays all sorts of handy information. I also enjoy one called "System Information" ... also free. Not quite like having an actual shell, but netstat can be informative. It helped me sort out an issue with Link and my overly complicated firewall at home.

I only mention these here (and not in the software sub) because they are relevant to radio files, and network connectivity.

On my old BlackBerry I had a program that located and mapped out towers; you could examine any saved or currently connected tower and it would give you a wealth of information about it. I think it was called SignalLoc.

I could use something like that now to discover if my phone is just in love with a crappy tower when at home, or why the 1917 radio from 10.1.0.2009 just stinks compared to the one that came with 1756. Everyone else seems to be loving 2009 (or at least its radio files). :/
I remember SignalLoc, and I miss it terribly. It was developed by Fairview 5 Engineering. I would love to see a similar app make its way to BB10.

The radio included in the .2354 leak appears to be working properly after 24 hrs of medium duty use. Been on LTE 80% and some wifi 20%. Battery appears to be very decent, given that its only been running for 24 hours.

A caveat: Don't expect your device to be running in tip top shape the moment you flash a radio file.
I've been running the .1881 radio for the past couple days and the battery life seems to be getting better by the day.
I haven't been getting the outstanding battery life I was getting pre-2345, but I can easily squeeze 12 hours out of it with light-moderate use and it appears to be getting better since my initial flash.
Give it a couple days before flashing with a new radio.

It's hit and miss, all report good files, you'll have to experiment to find what works for you

Help. I just installed http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...thread-812620/ leak
then installed http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...-3-4-a-811099/ Radio 1917 I dont think it like that radio because as soon as the phone turned on it wouldnt catch service and from there it rebooted itself. I tried to do a security wipe which took a long time and the phone never kicked back on went to a yellow lightning bolt. hit the power button and finally turned on took me up to asking me to to connect to my wifi and then restarted itself. now when the phone turns on it just shows me a nice blue background screen with nothing else. I pulled the battery and still just a blue screen and phone keeps resetting itself.

I tried reinstalling the leak it went through the whole process and then took me right back to the nice blue back light screen.

What do I do? Am I am new to all of this so simple terms please.

Tried adding radio file 1907 to 2354. Phone would not boot, instead just a flashing red light. Flashed it with an earlier OS version and then reinstalled 2354 and it's recovered. Guess 2354 is not tolerant of earlier radio files ( or at least 1907)

I am running 1617 radio just fine, so it may just be certain radio files...

1881 radio seems to be popular also...

Is it wise to give radio files a few days to settle in before deciding whether they are any good or not?

I ended up doing a workround and got it to work again

KB33480-BlackBerry 10 smartphone does not boot, displays a Phone with a USB icon, and is unable to be reloaded using BlackBerry Link after an interrupted Security Wipe

reinstalled the leak and it seems to just not be taking. has anyone heard of this?

If you had the bad 234x version on your phone and your backup came from there that's the cause. Once it happens the only fix is an autoloader flash with something else -- a security wipe will NOT clear it.

I ran into this and the only way I got out of it was to autoload the device. The backups from 234x versions are polluted and appear to quite-reliably cause this problem if restored.
