If you use sachup than a loader it'll always brick, the two don't play nicely

    Thanks for the fast response.
I always use autoloader but i was on a official os (pushed 4 days ago).
    So it bricked.
reloaded the software with autoloader and fine right now.
Only problem is , i wanted to try the 1881 radio file but winzip says it is unavailable or something like that.
I really would like the 1881 because in my region this gave me a stunning battery life.

I have a question - I have a Sachibar-loaded OS (.2354) and the radio files that came with it. I'd like to change the radio file to the one extracted from the T-Mobile update. I see the link to the autoloader for the radio file above, but I also see that someone bricked their phone when installing a different radio file via autoloader over a Sachiber-loaded OS. What's the safest way to install the radio file without having to start all over again? Thanks, everyone!

PS Thanks especially to those of you who are making all these updates possible!
The easiest way is to read this thread thoroughly or posts particularly from Kris and at this point, start over.

Add me to the list of users matching 2354 install with the 1881 radio file. Call quality is restored, no dropped calls for the last two days. Battery life improved, I didn't have a battery life problem, but this radio file still improved it. I just had to tell someone, nobody else understands.

I agree. I was using 2354/2355 for a while and then switched back to 2354/1881. It's better all around, or so it seems.

So annoying, seems like that combination helped everyone but my z10 lol. Battery nowadays is going in 6hours, fair enough it's barely on standby as I WhatsApp a lot but surely it has to do better!

I'm using sachup to find the radio files for -1.

But I'm pulling the latest radio file. How could I get the lower version on sachuo?

Just downgraded radio to 1917 and I'm further impressed than 1881.

The GPS session did not heat the phone and kill the battery as quick with 1917 in comparison to 1881.

My wifi strength is 1 bar more than 1881.

Battery lasts noticeably longer with 1917/2354.

Bandwidth test, at this point is irrelevant as browser latency tests fluctuate and never stays consistent. Not sure what this is tied to, however.

These are only my results, but I still agree either 1917 and 1881 are legendary radio versions for saving battery.

I'm running stl-3 Telus z10 on the Rogers network. I'm using the 2435 or whatever leak with 1917, and everything was fine till Rogers activated lte in winnipeg today, I seem to only have 2 or 3 bars never more. And it's weird because if I put it on 4g, I have full bars.

Anyone else running a leak on Rogers in manitoba? And how is your radio file?

Hey Kris, I realize that many are resorting to the 2354/1881 combo, wish I knew which type of Network the majority of these folks are running on...However in my case I'm with AT&T and based on what I compiled from many threads, the 2354/1721 was ideally suited for me...

Based on what you know, were there any negative issues reported with 1721 radio files?, if so which? From what I combed through, many are quite adamant that this combo is best suited for AT&T users, but I'm really interested in your take on this??
I know you're extremely busy too, but would appreciate any insight or advice !!

I also am curious being with ATT just outside of Chicago. I today finally ran to the 2354/1881 combo first due to everyone saying it seemed to be the best... but now seeing some say with att they are better off with 1721. anyone have any experience either way on this? Then again, I am just going to the 10.1 today as I have been fed up waiting on the carrier to do their job and give me the newest available.

I personally have never had a issue with any radio, however I myself did see the best battery life return (16hrs on heavy use) with the 1880OS/1881radio

Hey Kris and others, I can just run the 1881 radio autoloader, the same way I ran the 2354 OS update, correct? I went the autoloader route but want to try the 1881 radio now. Didn't know if I can just run that. I shouldn't have to reinstall apps for a radio file, should I? Also, should I put phone in development mode prior to running 1881 autoloader?
    Thanks!
