Well so far I have everything in assets aet up right that SHOULD work lol I'm just trying here in an area that isn't my specialty, but, the only problem I'm having is the "thumbs.db" file goes missing from the z10's folder, and I have no idea how to generate that back in windows 8, windows vista and back would've been easy but well windows 7 and 8 actually doesn't generate it in the folder containing the images it generates it elsewhere. >_< mouthful, but essentially I think that's the only problem, cause it's the only error I'm getting when trying to install the bar

What exactly are you trying to do? Thumbs.db is a windows generated file, BB10 doesn't care about it. And like I said at the beginning of this thread, the only way to get it to work is by manually unsigning it, rebuilding it and signing it with your own key. I know people who have installed de-signed BARs before. It permentantly messes up installing BARs. Just a word of caution. Do you know how to unsign BARs?

So there I was, looking through the clock from 10.2.1.1055 in hope of getting something out of it besides the font files, wallpaper and ringtone for the P9982 when I find something in the assets\images directory.

What's a CB icon doing in the clock assets?

Thank you for the Kramer gif. As a fan of the new game show, @Midnight, I wish I could give you Internet points for that.

    +1

to add my humble 2 cents to this; Thumbs.db is/was only added by Windows when you connect or deal with a BBOS device... I noticed this cuz I deal with a lot of music on my phone and so when loading albums, the album covers used to be automatically created/included as Thumbs.db so it would show the album image on ur phone even if you didn't have an actual picture file in the folder, but now in BB10 it looks for the actual jpg or picture file.

Don't know if that helps at all, but just an observation... y'all are pros more than me so probly knew that alrdy, but I really want to see this work so anything that might give further insight haha...

Of course the method I found works, I wouldn't have shared if it didn't work.

(and of course for all of BerryLeaks Team who have been looking at how to make this work)

    Crackberry's method works!

I found a picture file called Happy_easter.png in the sys.clock.bar. It is a picture of a barcode and when scanned with Smart Tags app it reveals text:

    TWELVE EASTER EGG MODELS.
    SEVEN ARE WONDERFUL.
    FOUR LIVE IN THE BACKDOOR.
    ONE WILL BE REVEALED.
    BlackBerry Porsche Design Clock.bar?-happy_easter.png

Looks like a riddle! Could there be more easter eggs in the clock app?

Has something to do with this file: /var/db/text_messaging/EnableBackdoors which doesn't exist on our phones. Even if it did exist, is it a simple If File Exists, or is there something that has to be in the file? We may never know since we don't have that level of access to create that file.
