Hi. By the way, sorry if my title was over the top. I just don't know what to do about this situation. So today I downloaded the recently leaked BlackBerry OS 10.3.0.140. After I restored the my files and apps etc. I could finally use the new os. However, I straight away noticed that apart from the red coloring, that in the four sides if the screen, there was this written "0x2B84A1DF"

I then realised that 2B84A1DF is my pin. I don't know how to take this annoying thing of my screen. Its on everything and it won't go away. Is anyone else having this problem?

Please can someone help me with this problem. I can't express how annoying this is.

    Thanks,
    Carlos

    P.S
Other than the thing I explained above, I love OS 10.3.0.140!

You can't. Didn't you bother to read any of the disclaimers?
Its a beta. That's what you get.

Seems you did a good job expressing how you don't like your pin showing up. You didn't notice that from previous new leaks or from the 400 or so other posts in another thread?

This is common on Developer releases, it's been there before because it's not a Release Candidate version.

This has been standard in early leak releases for the pin number to be visible in all Four Corners of the screen.

You will likely see this in all leaks lower than about 10.3.0.1001.

Nothing you can do about this pin watermark as far as I know, but such is the price of playing with early releases.

clearly he hasn't seen it before hence why he is asking the question.

annoys me when people reply back with answers that are not even helpful to the OP!

Hi, guys and thanks for a the comments and information. I have decided to keep 10.3.0.140 for a bit so I can try it out probably. However I've noticed another thing. When I open apps that I have installed from snap, I says "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped" it says it one every android app I have installed, but it doesn't say it on apps I've installed through Blackberry World

Why does it do this? Does anyone know?

    Thanks,
    Carlos

Basically BlackBerry doesn't want leaks getting out, and they don't want people working for them leaking videos or screenshots of early releases, so they have your PIN show up in the corners of the earliest releases so that they can tell who is releasing screenshots.

    Hey there Carlos,

You will be getting that and other types of errors and crashes because this is a leak.
Pin watermarks, apps crashing, excesive battery usage and other "normal" problems you get with leaks.

What you can do, like Foppa_21 said, is post those problems here: Leaked OS 10.3.0.140 - Findings, Fixes and Bugs thread.

Solution: Use the same color as the pin watermark on a custom wallpaper and it will still be there, and you will have boxes but not on the home screen at least, I actually liked it because I didn't have to goto the about page to give people my pin.

Are leaks too mainstream now that they make several sites front page?

The Answer is yes. Now bring on the people who don't read..
