I just installed OS Version 10.3.2.798 (Software Release 10.3.2.516) through the autoloader. After it finished and restarted, I went through the initial setup and it said there was an update available to 10.3.2.2226. I hit skip and after the setup was completed I went to Software Updates and there it was, downloading 10.3.2.2226. I cancelled the download again and disabled automatic updates. I though that wasn't possible?

We have seen that carriers can force out an update... it is kinda strange to see them enforcing a downgrade.

Do you mean 10.3.2.226 or 10.3.2.2226?

Well then it isn't a downgrade, then.

Really? So, 10.3.2.2226 is higher than 10.3.2.798?

Ok. I feel stupid. That makes sense. I always paid attention to the number after the dot. Thought 2.7XX was higher that 2.2XXX.
I guess I'll go through the posts and decide if I should upgrade or not. I was having problems with 10.3.2.2226, specially with the radio.

In all honesty, 2.798 is bigger than 2.2226 in math... To avoid confusion, the number should be 2.0798. Actually, I think this is the way it is in the file name... Anyway, my mistake for reading this the wrong way.

BlackBerry Limited has not been putting any such ZERO in the fourth number to name a device software. (So, the fourth number can be 3 digits, 4 digits . . . or even 5 digits when necessary.)

Yeah, I only do that on Bitcasa because in the very beginning I had to, in order to get the file list to sort properly.

    But it's not a decimal. It's the 10.3.2 branch 2226 or 2339(OS) build as opposed to 798
