    OP is completely right IMHO.
Usually BlackBerry UI was done by sticking to the "content is king" 'pattern'.
BB HUB on the Q10 is kinda 40% interactions and 60% content, which could and should be improved.

And tadaaaa 10.3 brings us a narrow Action bar as well as a optimized Title bar.
Look at the OS/Cascades "Version 10.3 beta visual refresh" documents on https://developer.blackberry.com/des...l_updates.html

This point is completely moot since the main action circle at the bottom intrudes into the content of the Hub. They should have just left the title bar and action bar as big as they were instead of making that element intrude into the Hub content making it a distraction.

One can certainly discuss the magnitude of the change, but it's a move in the right direction, they give content more space.
If I am not completely wrong the primary action item will only be as 'large' in height as the current action bar is.
So all in all, more content visible is fine with me and we'll see where this primary/secondary action stuff is going in future updates.

And no, I don't think they should have just let it that way!

Kris, welcome back to the forums I guess. Long time no see.. hope your good and not letting BlackBerry go, again.. sort of speak. Why do you even bother, a complain can lead to a fix which leads to everyone being happy right? What happened to the nice helpful Kris?

Too large? Nah. Could be because I have a Z30 though. But the new feature to remove the icon labels in 10.3 is nice. Removes a bit of the bottom bar which I was always rooting my android to do

What's the point of a custom launcher if you can't control voltages and overclock? Might as well root, and do all at once.

Tbh even when I rooted it was never for OC/UC and voltages, as I found it didn't make a difference personally. I usually rooted for apps like titanium backup, but to each their own
