    Remember, this is an early OS, even so a Dev OS. I'm sure the implementation isn't perfect yet, so don't expect it to perform as it should just yet.

    BTW, are you able to disable BlackBerry Guardian? Also, does it give an option of continuing installing an app that it has flagged?

    yes it lets you turn the inspect apps option off

    And you can install an app that is flaged, it just pops up a warning. I just figured this would help devs figure out what could be causing it to flag there app

    I wonder if Guardian does anything novel, or if it just acts as other 'popular' scanners for Android.
    If so: those only scan the amount of permissions apps ask for, and then give a warning when that app seems to need an unreasonable amount.

    Still a good warning, but more often than not a false positive. If it works differently and does an actual deep threat scan, then they should definitely put in a clear description of how it works and how to respond.
